after finishing school for the week and dropping jack and zach home since they had begged her to so they didn't have to walk, isabella finally pulled up in parking lot of her apartment complex.
yet instead of going to her and her mother's, like planned she went straight to her college friends' place, knocking on the door and patiently yet impatiently waiting for someone to answer as she stood there shifting her weight between her feet while slightly swaying her body.
"hello bella," arden smiled at the girl. "el's having a shower but you can come hang with scar and i."
"how are you arden?" she replied, following him into the living room of the apartment.
"i'm good, ready to go out and get drunk and make out with some hot guys," he replied.
"where are you going?"
"a gay club."
"are you both twenty-one?" she furrowed slightly. "i swear elora said she's nineteen."
"in california we're not.." scarlett shook her head while letting out a small chuckle. "in other states though, yes."
"but like we've walked into clubs before without even being id-ed," the younger added.
"how old are you again?"
"eighteen but i turn nineteen in like less than two months."
"oh yeah, so you're only like a year younger than us," scarlett replied. "i'm sure you could get in with us."
"no thanks," she shook her head, fiddling with her fingers slightly. "i'm happy to just stay here with ora."
"you two are cute," arden spoke with a small smile. "when are you gonna date?"
"uh.."
"leave her alone," elora interrupted them, loosely wrapping her arms around the girl's neck. "you two can go off lily's now for pregaming and dinner or whatever."
"alright.. we'll leave then," he jokingly sighed as he got up, grabbing scarlett's arm and pulling her up.
"yeah yeah i'm coming," she shook his head off of herself as she picked up her small handbag, throwing it over her shoulder.
"you two have fun fuckin' or whatever," arden teased the other girls as they walked towards the front door. "we'll be back in the am."
"bye," elora waved them out, before moving to in front of isabella and grabbing ahold of her hands. "what would you like to do tonight? you wanna watch a movie or something, maybe order some food in a couple for dinner, then have a fun night in?"
"yeah, okay," she nodded.
"you seem upset?" she softly furrowed at the girl, slowly leading her over to the lounge so they could sit down.
"just reminded me of times with my boyfriend.." isabella let out a small sigh. "i miss the days at his place when it was just us at home, watching shows and stuff, and it almost always ended up in sex.. those were the fun times.."
"can i be honest?" elora asked, receiving a nod from the other as they sat down on the lounge, having each other's full attention. "i don't think you're ready to have something serious with me.."
"oh?" the youngest tilted her head. "i like hanging out with you.."
"we can still hang out, hookup, all that, i don't mind.. but i just don't think you're ready to date a girl," elora continued to confess. "i swear every time we hang out you almost always end up talking about your ex and how much you liked having sex with him. and i know that i, as a girl, will probably not be able to keep you satisfied the way a guy could.."
"i'm willing to try things out with you.."
"we can try," she softly shrugged. "but i think it's best we stay as friends with benefits.. you keep can stay over whenever you'd like, anything we already do."
"i'm probably gonna go back to my boyfriend once he's over this koralie bitch anyway, so it's probably best."
"yes, probably best," elora nodded. "come here," she added, pulling the girl in closer to herself and connecting their lips.
"happily," she mumbled between kisses.
