00 || Prologue

I step into the apartment building. I can't wait to tell mama all about my training. The teachers were a bit strict but I enjoyed the knife part. It was fun. Maybe mama will buy me some knives.

I go inside the elevator and wait for a while till it reaches the 6th floor. It's eerily quiet in the hallway today.

Tomorrow's my birthday, and i can't wait to go to grandma's shop. I love spending time there. We always go there for my birthday. Maybe this time I'll get grandma a gift too.

I open the door to the apartment and call for mom.
"Mama! I'm back." I get no reply.

"Mama?" I walk towards her room and open the door-

"Mama..." My eyes widen as I see her lying on the floor with blood all over her body.

"Mama, w-what?"
She's not responding and I can't help but panic as I see her. I take deep breaths and tell myself that it'll be okay. It'll be okay. She's not speaking and I can't hear her breathe.
"Mama say something please"

Tears form in my eyes. I turn towards the door and run for the telephone. I call my father. He doesn't pick up. Why isn't he picking up?? I- I have to call someone I-
I dial my sister's number and she picks up.

"H-hello? Aria?" I stutter while crying at the sight in front of me. I'm scared.
"Susan? What's wrong?" Aria answers. Worry in her voice.
"I- Mama it's mama s-she-" I can't even speak properly. I'm so scared.

"Susan deep breaths, tell me whats wrong," She tries again in a soothing voice.

"I came back a-and I saw m-mama here covered in blood. Please come home please please w-what should I do?" I say stuttering. She still isn't moving. Why isn't she moving?

"Shit. Treat her wounds, did you call dad?" She says trying to hide the panic in her voice. "Y-yes he didn't pick up" I say while taking a cloth to stop her bleeding. I hear shuffling on the line as she speaks.

"Okay don't worry I'll be there."
I let out shaky breaths and hang up as I wait for her. Hurry. She needs to hurry.

"M-mama talk to me please,"
I check her pulse and it's hardly there I can't hear it. I sob looking at mama. I can't just wait and sit here. I try to stitch the wound on her waist.

I hear loud and hurried footsteps outside while I tell mama to talk. To just say she's okay.
But I don't hear her. She's not saying anything. Her eyes are closed, mouth a little open and she's not breathing. I can't hear her breathe.

I hear footsteps coming from outside but I focus on mama. The footsteps become louder but my vision starts becoming blurry and I have difficulty breathing. I hear someone call me. Mama?
"Susan! Please! Wake up!"
I try to open my eyes but it's so hard. I can't move. There are black dots everywhere. Mama. Is mama okay? I-

3 hours later

I blink and open my eyes slowly. My vision's blurry but I turn to look around.
The last thing I remember-

"Susan? Are you feeling okay?" I hear a hoarse voice.

"M-mama- wheres mama?" I ask whoever's in the room with me without answering. "Susan... I'm sorry." I finally find the strength to get up and sit. I stare at Aria standing at the corner of the hospital room. "What do you mean you're sorry?"

She just stares at me with teary eyes as a response. ""Aria. Where's mama?" I say a bad feeling forming in my gut.
"Susan... She's not.." Deep breaths. Deep breaths. "Not what Aria?" I grit. Just answer me.

"She's- not here anymore..." No. That's not true. I can't process it. I can't lose her. She's my mama. My mama. I love her. She's my everything.

"What the fuck do you mean by that?!"
"She died Susan! She's gone." She says frustrated.

"I- I have to go." I don't wait to listen to her reply as I get up and leave the room. Tears build up in my eyes and I have slight difficulty walking but I didn't care.
My mama was gone.

2 years later

Fuck I'm late. "Lily stop messing with my laptop I have to leave right now." I say as I walk out of the bathroom.
"Okay okay, so who are you going with?"
"I don't know and I don't care I just need to do my job which is guide them."

"Jeez okay. Just- please be easy on them?" She sighs as I don't answer her because we both know I won't be 'easy' on them.
"Well I'm going to look for Alex then we can all go out for dinner?" I hate outings. I woul rather do my work.

"I'm-" "-Nope. Scratch that we are going out. I don't want any buts. You always cancel" She interrupts me.

I sigh, knowing there's no place of arguing with Lily.
"Don't you need to leave?" She says smiling sweetly. "Fuck off." I close the door behind me and walk towards the main gates. And there they are. Our newest agents.

"I'm agent 09 and I'll be guiding you today. If you have any questions, go to chief. And don't interrupt me because I'm just here to show you around."
The two girls look at me wide-eyed, then at each other, then at me and nod.

"Let's go then."

So how was the prologue and what do you think of Susan? Be honest.

I tried but I'm still trying to get better at the format and writing style
Also, the next part will prolly be out next week or so
