Chapter 19

The ambulance rushed to the hospital and the sirens were still off. Jin sat in the back watching Namjoon and he saw the breathing device over his mouth helping him breath.

The medic asked Jin some questions still tumbling on the road and to the hospital.

"Any severe injuries you have Jin?" The medic asked checking Jin's heart rate before looking back at him.

"Uhm.. yeah my body.. is hurting a lot" Jin muttered.

"If you're comfortable to, do you mind showing me so I can analyze the wounds?" The medic asked taking a step back.

Jin nodded and he took off his shirt and sat it aside. The medic looked at his torso and all the way up marking the bruises and the neck. He than put on a glove and touched one of the bruises lightly. Jin jumped a bit and he backed up a little as his heart race.

"W-wait..." Jin muttered gripping onto the shirt.

The medic moved they're hand from Jin's space and he reached over for a clipboard.

"Trauma." He said marking the paper with a red pen.

"What..? Trauma.." Jin said as he looked at the medic. "I'm okay though.."

"No Kim SeokJin... can I ask you a question." He said clicking the pen.

Jin nodded and pulled on his shirt.

"How many times has it been?." The medic asked.

Jin fidgeted with his fingers and he lowered his head down. "I don't want to say it.."

"Can you show the number with your hands...?" He asked politely.

Jin sat there for a little while and he then shook his head.

"I'm sorry sir.. I- I don't want to think about it right now."

"Okay, I see. I can ask your friend Namjoon when he wakes up." The medic said feeling the car slow down.

"When will he wake up.." Jin asked folding his hands together.

"We'll handle him, he will wake up whenever he can. I'll give you the news that he is breathing though." He said nodding to Jin.

Jin sighed and looked at Namjoon resting. "Okay.."

The hospital room:

Jin sat in the room denying any pains he had that the doctor tried to explain to him that he had to take care of, but Jin cared about Namjoon's health the most. He figured that he could let all his worries of himself aside.

Jin sat on the purple chair waiting patiently for the doctor to come back and for Namjoon to wake up. It was pretty dark outside and the windows didn't have any curtains which bothered Jin a little due to privacy. The beeping of the heart monitor kinda soothed Jin, his restless eyes soon wanted to close and forget everything that happened. A sudden knock was than heard from the door and Jungkook had arrived in his casual wear this time.

Jin pounced up and greeted Jungkook from a distance.

"How is he?" Jungkook asked taking a couple steps closer to the hospital bed.

"He hasn't woke up yet.. I.. want to hug him." Jin said in a soft tone looking over at Namjoon's body under the hospital gown.

"I know you really care for him, Jimin is also getting a little check up but he's okay.. look you should maybe give him some time? And take care of yourself." Jungkook said as he made little hand gesture speaking to Jin.

"No! I can't.. not yet... I can't leave him. He was there for me whenever I suffered so I have to be with him now." Jin crossed his arms and shrugged his shoulders back straighening his posture.

"I understand.. but you haven't slept yet. It's pretty late and don't you think Namjoon would want the same for you?"

Jin let the thought sink in into his head. Jungkook was right, maybe if he'd take a little break then it'll set his mind into a free state and not leaving him as worried. But Jin didn't want to leave him.. not yet at least.

"I'll.. sleep here then." Jin replied letting out a exhausted yawn.

"If you really want that then there should be extra blankets in these cabinets.." Jungkook was left searching inside the wooden cabinet closest to him and picked out a little white fleece blanket handing it to Jin.

"Thank you." Jin received the blanket giving him a light smile of gratitude.

"Mhm." Jungkook responded checking the time on his watch. "10:40.. You should rest.."

Jin clenched on the blanket and stepped back sitting down on the soft purple cushion. "Okay.. I will."

Jin did expect a doctor to come in but nobody showed up; it was probably because it was too late. Well what Jin and Jungkook thought.

"Sleep well Jin. I'll be at floor 2 with Jimin. I guess you can say we're both experiencing similar situations. But everything will be okay." Jungkook said as he stretched his arms across his body walking to the door.

"Yes.. I hope so. Goodnight Jungkook." Jin said watching Jungkook stretch his arms. He knew he was pretty tired. They did have a long day, all four of them so he could understand Jungkook's emotions.

"Goodnight." Jungkook replied as his voice was rather quiet as he left the room and dimmed the light.

Jin placed the white fleece blanket onto the cushion and he watched over to the window looking at the rim. There has to be a way to close these. Jin reached for the little shutter at the side of the windows and closed them shut on both sides.

Jin sighed and sat back down kicking off his shoes and pulling the blanket onto him and closing his eyes for the night.

An disturbing light from the sun shines through the shutters of the window that shined onto the hospital bed and the flooring nearly waking up Jin. He felt a light tap onto his shoulder. Squinting his eyes a little, he saw a lady with short hair cut to her neck and pulled back into a ponytail, and wore a white long coat with a white shirt paired with it and her name tag. Light blue long trousers and a pair of  black flats spoken to Jin in a low tone.

"Excuse me?.. would you like anything to eat?" She asked as she took a step back bowing to him.

Jin squirmed up and moved the blanket from his face covering up his yawn. "Y...yes ma'am. Anything is fine."

"Okay, good morning by the way." She added before walking out of the door closing it lightly.

Jin stretched his arms into an awakening day and he wasn't expecting to wake up as early. He wondered what Jungkook was doing probably thinking he was still sleeping. It was still way to early for Jin but he thought he did get proper rest for a while finally.
