I woke up with a jolt due to a particularly loud snore. I must have fell off of the couch because I was lying on something hard. I propped myself up on my hands to look around for Steve and found myself still on the couch. The snore sounded again. Looking beneath me, I see a peaceful Steve sleeping with his arms tightly gripped around me. SHIT, SHIT, SHIT. I tried to push myself up and off of him but he just sleepily groaned and pulled me back onto him. "What are you doing?" He asked with his eyes still shut and a slight frown on his face.

"Nothing, I just wanna get up." I replied.

"No, stay."

"Steve, really-" I tried to sit up this time.

"Y/nnnn." I was almost successful but he was unfortunately stronger than me and held me down so I was now straddling him. "Steve!" I whisper-shouted as my face was now hovering over his, arms on either side of his head. He partially opened his eyes with a victorious smirk on his face. "What?" He asked, feigning innocence.

"You know exactly what. Let me go." Steve's face fell and he sighed. "Can't you stay a little longer?"

"No, c'mon, let go." I said and let out a small laugh.

"Please, y/n? For me?" I felt his warm breath against my face and his brown eyes stared up at me, kinda like a puppy would but behind them was... something else. I wasn't sure what. Yet. "Steve..." He had me torn, stay with him on the couch or spare myself the future pain and get up. Steve pulled me away from my thoughts when he brought his hand up to my face and leaned up. "Please..." he muttered once more before his lips met mine. I completely melted into the kiss, letting his hands rest on my waist while mine ran through his hair. What started off as a short sweet kiss, was deepened quickly. Steve let out a quiet groan as tugged slightly on his hair and his hands began to trail up and down my body. After a short while, we pulled away for air and I looked down at him. Oh my God, I just kissed Steve Harrington. He had the widest grin on his face and was brushing hair that had fallen into my face. I was smiling just as much, gazing down him. We laid there in silence for a couple minutes, just taking each other in. However, the blissfulness didn't last for long as anxious thoughts began to flood my mind. Steve saw my face fall and his expression turned into one of concern. "Hey, is everything ok?" He asked, knitting his brows together.

"Mhm. Yep." He didn't look convinced.

"Are you sure? What's wrong, y/n?" My smile returned shortly but quickly disappeared again.

"I'm great I just need to... um, go check something." I sat up and clambered off of him, leaving Steve still lying there with confusion evident on his features. "Okay?" I walked out of the living room, unsure where I was really going to "check on something".

*STEVE POV*

Y/n had just left me lying on the couch to "check on something" but it was pretty obvious that was not was she was doing. I had scared her off. I sat up and placed my head in my hands, letting out a long sigh, already missing her touch. Shit, why did I do that? I could've done anything and I did that. I kissed y/n Henderson. Y/n Henderson my best friend. I mean, you can't even put into words how complicated that is. Before I could worry even more, I heard her call me into the kitchen.

*BACK TO 1ST PERSON POV*

I found myself in the kitchen and was about to search his fridge for something to eat when I caught sight of the time. "Steve!"

"Yeah?" He yelled from the living room.

"Get in here!" Steve came jogging into the kitchen and stretched. "What's going on?"

"We are almost thirty minutes late for work." His eyes widened and his mouth fell open. "What?" He shouted. "I know. We need to go, now!"

"Oh my God, my dad is gonna kill me." Steve mumbled. We took our uniforms out of the dryer, that Steve had turned on last night, and rushed out to the car. Steve drove as fast as he could to the mall and I hoped and prayed Robin wouldn't be too mad.

Luckily, this morning was a slow one so there weren't many customers. We both hurried into Scoops and through to the backroom trying to ignore Robin's stare. After dropping my bag in the back, I met Robin in the front. "So where were you two?" She asked with a smirk on her face.

"We over slept, sorry." I answered while trying to fix my disheveled hair.

"Uh huh." Robin replied, slightly laughing.

"What?" I asked her, starting to laugh as well.

"Oh nothing, y/n. Nothing at all." I gave her a small but confused smile and we continued with our jobs.

Dustin had shown up later on and had continued to scope out the warehouse. He sat us down during our lunch break and told us his findings. "That keycard opens the door but unfortunately the Russian with this key card also has a massive gun. Whatever's in this room, whatever's in those boxes, they really don't want anybody finding it." Dustin was pacing around the room while Steve and Robin sat on chairs around a table I was sitting on. "But there's gotta be a way in." Robin sighed.

"Well, you know," Steve began, placing his hat on my lap. "I could just knock him out." He said and leant forwards on the table, resting a hand on my thigh. A small gesture, I know, but it didn't fail to make me blush a little. "Take who out?" She asked with an eyebrow raised.

"The Russian guard." Steve said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "What? I sneak up behind him, I knock him out and I take his keycard. It's easy."

"Did you not hear the part about the massive gun?" My brother asked.

"Yes, Dustin. I did. And that's why I would be sneaking." Steve imitated walking with his fingers across my leg. "Well please tell me this, and be honest, have you ever actually... won a fight?" Dustin questioned.

"Okay, that was one time-" Steve leant back and crossed his arms.

"Twice. Jonathan, year prior?" I said.

"Listen, that doesn't count."

"Why wouldn't it? Because it looks like he beat the shit out of you." My brother added. Steve tried to defend himself but I jumped back into the conversation. "You got a fat lip, crooked nose, swollen eye, a lot of blood. I mean, Steve?"

"Alright, Hendersons-" But before he could finish Robin rushed out of her chair mumbling about something that might just work. I followed her out to the counter where she grabbed all the dollar bills out of the tip jar. "Robin." Steve said, coming out of the back with Dustin. "Hey, Robin! Hey, hey, what are you doing?"

"I need cash." She simply said, walking out of Scoops.

"Well, part of that's mine and y/n's."

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"To find a way into that room, a safe way. And, in the meantime, sling ice cream, behave and don't get beat up. Y/n you're in charge, I'll be back in a jiff!" And with that she ran out of the mall. I sighed and rubbed my face trying to figure out what to do with these two idiots, especially after this morning. Speaking of, I looked over to find Dustin licking Steve's ice cream scooper and Steve snatching it out of his hands. "Oh, dude. Come on, man. Not my scooper." Please hurry back Robin.

Heyyy guys,

Sorry this is a little late, it took my forever to write this. Idk motivation's been running low. Anyway, I've never written a scene like this so I'm sorry if it's not good :'). I've got the other parts in the making so I'll release them over the next couple of days. This is also barely edited so I apologise for that as well (I'll fix it later). Enjoy! :)
