"Goodnight mam, night dad." It is now nine o'clock which is the time I head up to bed because of my early wake up time in the morning.
"Good night Mr and Mrs Holt." Cameron says with a small wave and shy smile as he waits by the door frame of the living room for me, I finish giving my parents a kiss on the cheek and lead Cameron up stairs. "So um, about my sleeping clothes." Cameron is standing in the middle of my bedroom with his right hand clasping the back of his neck as he looks up at me sheepishly.
I laugh at his uneccessary awkwardness and cut in. "Yeah I have to change into mine too. How about you change in here and I'll change in the bathroom?" I ask as I get up from my bed after grabbing my pyjama shorts and vest top and start walking towards my door.
"Actually!" He calls out as I am about to disappear. "I was going to say that, I sleep in my boxers...but I can put clothes on if you want?"
Shit. Do I care what he sleeps in? Not really but, this will be the first time I'll be sleeping in the same bed with a boy. This is a lot for me to get my head around anyway, nevermind him being one thin article of clothing away from being naked. Wow I have just realised what a pure goody two shoes I am. But then I don't want him to be uncomfortable, and it is unusually hot. Usually once it hits September here in Wales, the rain kicks in. It hits and it hits hard. The walk to school is relentless when I turn up with eveything soaked but my bra, and sometimes even that has felt the wrath of the weather. However for the past week or two it has been BOILING all day and all night. Hence why I will be sleeping in a vest and shorts compared to my usual pyjama trousers and t-shirt. Also, why I have decided that I am okay with Cameron sleeping in his boxers. Logically it makes sense because if I make him wear clothes he will be warm, and if he's warm then I will be warm too, and I can't sleep when I'm warm. "No it's fine." I smile at him for reassurence. "I'll be right back, make yourself comfortable. But remember," I hold my left index finger up and point it in his direction. "The left side is mine."
He stands to attention and gives a salute. "Yes ma'am!" He breaks his façade of seriousness and grins at me. He then shoots me a wink that for some reason benowned to me, causes me to blush. Why am I blushing? What's this all about? It's not my time of the month again is it, with my hormones going crazy? No I'm sure I have three weeks. Then why on earth did I turn into a tomato just now? As a way to cover up my body's malfunction I show him my middle finger with a giggle and walk to the bathroom. I hear him gasp as I reach the solid oak door with it's gold effect handle.
I emerge from the reasonsbly sized bathroom with it's two-in-one shower and bath, porceline white sink and toilet and I freeze as I hear a voice. That sounds like Cameron rapping if you ask me. I listen for a few more seconds, I am almost positive he is rapping Drakes Marvin's Room that is playing from his phone, one of my favourites, he sounds pretty good fair play.
I do love this song. I click my fingers along to the base, something that has become a habit of mine recently, the need to recreate the music as I am listening to it.
"I'm just saying, you could do better." Cameron sings with his eyes squeezed closed with passion. He is laying on top of the covers of my bed, in just his boxers...Oh damn, that, that is one hell of a sight. I take a deep breath to calm my excelerating heart beat. Honestly, this is a sight I have never seen in real life, a man with what I deem to be an incredibly toned and attractive body, lying on my bed with just his boxers on. Oh how I admire the tightness of those black boxers.
"Tell me have you heard that lately?" I sing in time with the music causing Camerons eyes to shoot open and look to the door for the voice.
"Hey! How long have you been standing there." He sits up and crosses his legs, appearing to be ready for a conversation as he looks at me expectantly.
