Chp 10

"Nami?" A muffled voice says in the back

Sabo opens the door wide enough for me to walk in and I limp in trying to not make it obvious and go straight to luffy. I feel my legs almost give in and before I fall luffy catches me and hug be tight enough to the point where I almost pop

"Nami, im sorry. Everything you've been through is because of me!my existence ruined your whole L-"

"Luffy don't say stuff like that"his older brother ,sabo interrupted

"No luffy, you've made my life better, without you I don't know what would keep me going."

"Nami stop lying, you have so many other people! Itd be better if I just disappeared ."luffy said as he started to bawl his eyes out, we were still hugging so I rub his hair and just helped him through this

"Luffy if you never existed I wouldn't have gotten this far in life, your the reason I feel complete. dont lie to yourself luffy."

"But nami-"he said as he hiccuped

"No, I love you luffy and I don't want anything to happen to you, understand?"

Luffy gave me a baffled look, his face was red from crying and he just stared me in the eyes in shock

"I..I love you too nami."

Before I could even register what was happening our lips made contact with each other, it was like my whole body was getting submerged into the kiss and I could feel myself slouching down until luffy put his hands around my lower waist and pushed me up which deepened the kiss, I could see a flash of light even with my eyes closed but I could care less.

Eventually we let go and I slowly opened my eyes to finally see a smile on luffys face, his little smile turned into a big grin with his cheeks a rosey color

"You should see how red your face is nami!"luffy laughed

"Oh stop."I say pushing my hand against his face, when I do that his hand moves away from my waist which leads in me almost falling but once again luffy catches me

"Cmon, you must be tired.Ill get you some pajamas and we could spend the night here."

Luffy picked me up bridal style and placed me on the couch and then just left, so much was happening right now that I couldn't believe it, this all felt like a really good dream."

We spend the rest of the night watching tv and cuddling, I felt bad that I didn't introduce myself properly to sabo but Ill get time to do that tomorrow.

I start hearing snoring coming from my left so I look over to see luffy fast asleep, his head falls on my shoulder and I turn the tv off and lay us both down.

I knew I loved him.

Todays finally Christmas. yesterday luffy would not leave my side, even during the party when I tried to do anything on my own he was right there, waiting.

I don't know if the crew caught on that we were dating but robin definitely felt something was up.

*knock knock*

Im sitting in my living room so I grab the crutches my doctor gave me and make my way to the door revving all my friends behind it

"MERRY CHRISTMAS!"they all yell

We all exchange our presents and the last person to hand out a gift was luffy,i was the only one waiting for mine.

"Oh,here nami."luffy says passing me a big looking box, I start opening the box and pull out a bear and flowers

"Ooh, look at the back of the bear!"usopp says

I turn the bear around to see a zipper on it, i place the flowers beside me gently and opens he zipper to pull out a card

I open the card and the first thing I see is

NAMI

WILL YOU BE MY GIRLFRIEND?

I immediately drop the letter and jump onto luffy to kiss him, he ends up falling back onto the floor with me onto of him

Everyone had their phones out taking photos of us hugging and kissing but after so long me and luffy are finally together.
