Jack's P.O.V
Me, Blake and Kiyo were standing by the old L.O.V.E base, waiting for Shino to arrive
" do you think he will even bother to come? He still looked doubtful and he just wants to like a normal life." Questions Kiyo, I could tell he was upset about doing this as well, he was kind of in the same predicament as Shino.
" I have known Shino for a very long time, he'll be here" promised Blake. I tried to keep my mouth shut on this mission, I was still up in arms about the whole photo of my cousin suddenly appearing at my hideout issue.
After a few minutes, Shino arrived, " hey Bingo, glad you could show up" quipped Kiyo, I didn't know why he called him Bingo but ok.
" let's just get this over with, the sooner it's done, the sooner I can go back to my life" answered Shino impatiently. We began our march to the site where the report was taken, where we were supposed to get some Intel. We arrived at an old government building, abandoned and outdated. Windows were shattered, walls covered in spray paint and cracks in the foundation. " ok guys, don't forget to use your hero names" reminded Blake. When we walked in, it was pitch black, we could barely see in front of our faces. The only source of light was my costume and it's bright rainbow melt design
" hey Hardlight, do you think you can light it up in here?" I asked, after a little, the room began to fill with yellow light as objects came into view.
( A.N - ok so if you don't know or can't remember some of the hero names, I will clarify : Shino's name is Hardlight since he never came up with a hero name, I just gave him the name of his quirk - Blake is hothead - Kiyo is Specta - Jack is Techno)
As we walked around on different floors of the building, I couldn't help the feeling of uneasiness coursing through my nerves. I came up on a floor that I'm pretty sure was what we were looking for " hey guys! I think I found what we were looking for!" I called to the others. A few minutes later, they all came rushing forward " what did you find?" Asked Blake, I couldn't form the words so I just pointed.
The walls were spattered with blood, cracks and dents in the floor, chunks of meat scattered along with claw marks etched in the ground. The claw marks were leading to a metal door, no windows. Slow we made our way to the door and went into the other room. And what we saw, shocked us.
The room was filled with cages, some with dead bodies occupying them, on the side of the wall was a bunch of weapons, swords, axes, crossbows, batteries, jumper cables, needles, saws, pliers, drills, spears, chainsaws, hammers, and so many more horrific tools. A pile of blood soaked rags on the floor, a chemistry set nearby, and a hospital chair with bloody handcuffs dangling from the armrests
" oh. My. God" mumbled Shino, no one else said anything, we all had the same horrific thoughts of the room
" what the heck?" A voice rang throughout the floor. We turned our attention to the source of the voice. " SHIZU?!" Exclaimed Shino, our eyes went wide and our jaws dropped as we looked at the blue and red polarity teen.
" what are you doing here?!" Whispered/yelled Kiyo, " I could ask you the same thing for you guys" they defended. I decided to finally speak up " Shizu, you need to get out of here, it's not safe!" I begged, but Shizu was still angry " you're one to talk? this whole time, you guys have been sneaking out and doing vigilante work behind our backs! I have a right to do this" they argued
" I think you should have stayed home little ones" I voice echoed. We turn to see Krieg, hammer in hand, just starring at us. Soon, three more masked figures appear next to him, all armed. In a panic, Shizu uses their quirk and pushes the villains away, blasting then a yard or two away onto their backs, giving us little time to leave.
We rush down the stairs, the cloaked figures close behind us. A shout rings out through the stair case as the figures grab Kiyo and yank him back. " SPECTA!" Bellowed Shizu, they tried to go back to save him, but Shino stops to push them forward, causing him to fall behind and eventually be met with a crowbar to the head.
It's now only the three of us, we make our way to the exit, but it was already blocked. Rain, an ice manipulator and metal manipulator sit near the doors, waiting for us. " look at this, small world isn't it?" Cackled Rain. I heard Shizu gasp behind me " I- impossible! You were blown up!" They exclaimed, the psycho just smiled " think again child" a loud clunk rang out as Shizu's body drops to the ground.
Just me and Blake
Blake turns to me and whispers " I have a plan, when I say so, run like hell Jack, it'll be ok, you'll come up with something." Before I have time to react, she leans forward, kisses me on the cheek and throws a fire ball at the villains. Once a spot opens up, Blake kicks me in the but " RUN! GO! GET OUT OF HERE!!!" She yells at me, I stumble on my words, trying to form a sentence " But-" I try to say but she still screams at me " GO!!!" I run out the door, tripping on my feet as I scramble out the door to avoid being captured as well.
I have been running for 10 minutes straight, just trying to get distance from that dreaded building. The events that just happened play through my mind.

As I walk, I try to think, my friends have just been kidnapped, we were outnumbered from the start, I have no backup, what the heck am I supposed to do?!
We did all this so we could prevent another attack, not get beaten to a pulp. If we can't save each other, than how the heck are supposed to protect the ones we love
The ones we love....
I thought comes to mind, probably the craziest, stupidest, suicidal idea I will ever have.
Oh man Shino, Kiyo and Shizu are going to kill me for this, but it's the only way
