Sloane didn't know Ricky still had her number.

The girl hadn't expected to see his name pop up on the screen telling her to meet him at the library, Sloane figured it was to get her DVD back but there she was having an odd sense of deja vu.

It was the place she heard Ricky talk behind her back, it was the day her heart had broken and it took her months to get over it. But Sloane shook her head and took a deep breath before walking into the quiet room.

Sloane looked around the tables and chairs but she couldn't spot Ricky anywhere. It wasn't till she walked over to the last row of books to find Ricky dancing in front of Carlos.

The boy was clearly into it because the moment he saw Sloane he stumbled mid-choreo and blushed tremendously.

"Oh my god"

It took every fiber of muscle in Sloane's body to not laugh.

"He's been practicing," Carlos said with an amused smile, Sloane nodded with a smirk as she stood beside him.

"I can see that." Ricky's face burned even more as Sloane watched him with amused eyes.

Sloane faced the camera" do I hate him? Yes. But he's trying and honestly, it does kinda seem like he's trying to make things right again. (she clears her throat and folds her arms) I still hate him though"

"Here, let's try again. Five, six, seven, eight" Carlos counted, and with an encouraging nod from Sloane Ricky redid the dance routine, this time doing it exactly like how he was supposed to.

"Ricky that's it," Sloane said with a smile and Ricky beamed. The two smiled at each other for a second, a strange sort of moment was exchanged between the two before Sloane's smile immediately disappeared and was replaced by her usual blank expression.

"I'm just here for my DVD," Sloane said with her arms folded, Ricky's smile wavered but passed it to her nonetheless.

"Thank you" He whispered to her as he got closer to her, Sloane glanced at him as she placed the DVD in her bag.

"Whatever." She brushed it off before she left the library. Completely oblivious to Nini who had seen the whole interaction take place.

Nini faces the camera "I know he's my ex-boyfriend and I know I should be mad but come on, those two were meant to be! (grins)"

"How about you try it with an F sharp this time."

"Sloane, you're a genius."

Sloane and Ashlyn were seated at the piano in the school auditorium. Ashlyn was tasked by Ms. Jenn to write a song for Ms. Darbus and Ashlyn wanted to show Sloane and gain some insight into it.

"If I could go back and change the past, be a little braver than I had, and bet against the odds will I still be lost? '' Ashlyn sang beautifully and Sloane grinned.

"Ash, this song is amazing, you have to release it. It's going on my Spotify playlist." Sloane joked and Ashlyn laughed,

"I showed you my song. I wanna hear yours." Ashlyn smiled as she poked Sloane's arm. The blonde rolled her eyes but pulled out her song journal nonetheless.

"Ok but be warned I'm still tinkering with some lyrics, and the notes can be improved-"

"Oh get on with it already, stop stalling!" Ashlyn huffed, Sloane laughed but began to play the chorus of her song.

"There's no gravity when you're next to me. You always break my fall like a parachute. When you're holding me, so weightless I can barely breathe. You always break my fall, my fall, like a parachute." Sloane belted. She didn't want to admit it but she had written the song about Ricky.
