Gracey was getting sick again. Lacy and I were finally back on speaking terms after a year and now this again. I am started to think that i just wasn't meant to have a happy life. I can't believe I might lose gracey. Please Lord not again.
"Mr. And Mrs. Duncan, you're daughter is going to be fine. Her immune system has gotten a bit stronger," he walked over to lacy, "i also have the results from your mammogram. Would you like to hear them?" I was confused about what was going on.
"What results? What's going on?"
"Mr. Duncan your wife was tested positive for breast cancer. "
"What!!" I held lacy so tightly. I swore i would be here for her through everything. I loved her and i didn't want her to feel as if I was abandoning her in her time of need. I got her home that afternoon and tried my hardest to calm her down. To let Lacy know that everything would be fine and we'll get through this.
"I am going to die!"
"You're not going to die. Have some faith. "
"Imma lose my hair!"
"That's only s side effect from the chemotherapy. Wait, do you want to take the chemo?"
"No but it might be my only hope for me, for us. "
"We'll get through this i promise. "
"I really hope so. "
"Lets get some sleep OK honey. I'll go run a bath for you to help you relax."
"I'd love that. Thank you. "
