"i don't trust Damon." Miren spoke into the phone. the person on the other line stayed quiet. "he would do anything. no matter how stupid, to protect his precious doppelgänger." "keep him out of trouble, little sister."
"do you still care for him?" Miren inquired a bit too curious for her own good.
"i don't see how that's important, but my love for him will always be there." Adelaide hung up on the phone.
Miren came skipping down the stairs to find Damon and Rose on their way out of the door. "where are you going?" she asked Damon. "not that it's any of your business. but we're going to Denver."
"ooo, i call shot gun."
after some fighting Damon complied and let her come with.

"Miren if you try to pull any shit, so help to god-" Damon started his threat. "you're gonna do what?" his stare made Miren sigh.
"i promise, Day. and you know i don't break a promise."
Damon nodded and they all got out of the car.
"how do you even know this guy's here." "he's always here. besides i called." Rose explained. Damon pushed Rose up the wall. "good. just one thing. if you're setting me up in any way...i will-" Damon stoped himself. he knew Rose was older than him. he glanced to Miren besides him. "-she, will tear you apart, limb by limb."
"i'll be delighted." Miren clapped in eager. Rose gulped but nodded. Damon wasn't sure if she knew what Miren was but it was effective enough anyways.

"oh, i wouldn't?" Miren smirked a devilish grin. a plan forming in her eyes.
"don't tell Reny that she wouldn't, because she would. and Ren you promised." Damon said. he felt weird being the mediator. because he was never the mediator and i can't emphasize enough on never.
Rose friend came up and they hugged.
"i saw you come. what are you doing here?" Slater asked. "that's a long story. but i want you to meet-"
