It was September of 2019, outside from the suburbs, a small town where the trees were that high as if they were touching the clouds. Cristian, name of Kai's father, was working normally in a tourism company there, he used to always come back from work at 12 o'clock and go again at 6, only having Sundays to enjoy with his only son. One day, something in him was weird, he told them constantly he was hearing voices from nowhere, and also he felt as if the reality was distortioning, nobody understood him, but Sarah and Kai were afraid he was having a mental illness. September 29th, the day Kai will never forget, Cristian that day woke up really early yelling

-"Son, you are going to die, I need to save you no matter what" with tears filled in his eyes and a desperate voice

-"Dad, are you crazy? Mom, say something, how can he say I am going to die?

-"Cristian, I'm totally done with you, I'm calling the psychiatric hospital now, you are crazy, don't you understand? You are a psycho!" Sarah said as if she was hiding it all this time

Instantly, Cristian with sadness in his eyes left and runned his car out of the city. The day was getting bad, the clouds in the sky were gray and water began to drop, Sarah and Kai were sitting worried about him, they didn't call the madhouse obviously but called Cristian many times. Sarah couldn't hide her concern and called for a taxi, she begged Kai to stay at home until dad came back.

The time was running, 4 hours turn to 8, 1 day turned to 3, Sarah didn't sleep for days looking for him, she went to the small company he runned but once she arrived, someone from that town told her that company had already closed years ago, Sarah clearly was shockt, she had the keys of that building so she entered, everything looked so dark and scary, she started walking in to find anything to help find his husband, nothing was found, until she had only one room left in the basement, Sarah was too stunned to speak, she could not believe her eyes, there was hundreds of paintings with Sarah's, Kai's and his face drawn with a pencil, some of them looked like their faces deformed, others looked very creepy with a smile, but the ones which stood out more for Sarah was the ones where they seemed being killed by weird creatures, and especially one painting had only Kai dying by the absorption of something weird in the sky, it looked like a Sky rift, a really scary rift, and in the bottom of the paper a date was written, 12/07/2022.

The days passed, it wasn't days anymore, one month, two months, no answer. Sarah and Kai decided to give up by the end of that year, it was the saddest Christmas for both of them. Since that day, Sarah started to be alcoholic everyday and found a job in a convenience store to maintain his son, and Kai was never the same again.
