I didn't know that the meeting will go down the drain. He failed, which means he will be forced to talk to me. At last. I knew he wouldn't resist. His hunger for power is too great. This is going nicely. I walk into the room. I look at Viren. He takes the sword.
"I'm ready." Viren says.
I smile. I walk toward the mirror. Good to see you've changed your mind; you won't regret it. I cut my hand. A few drops of blood dropped into the bowl of water. It ignited into a purple and red flame. I watch as he cuts himself and the same thing happened. I open my mouth. A caterpillar crawls out of it. I put it into the water bowl. The fire and the water ceased on Viren's end.
The caterpillar crawls, onto his hand through his sleeve, and onto his ear.
"Speak." I echo.
Viren turns he looks all around. Then he turns to me. I look at him, waiting for a response.
"Speak. So I may hear you." I encourage
"Who... who are you?" Viren asked.
"Ahh. How long I've waited to hear the sound of another voice." I smile.
Viren looks at me.
"How may I serve you?" I smile.
