A D R I A N A
..........
We walked through the woods to find the clearing. I sniffed my surroundings and sighed at the dead bodies' stench. Mostly rogues.
Thump.
Crunch.
The wind blew through my fur with my paws making a crunching noise as they made contact with the dead leaves.
Dead.
Seemed like we were almost close. I could hear everything from a mile away. The heartbeats of my warriors calmly thumped as they walked slowly but closely behind me.
My friends walked in front of them watching my every step like Avalon could pop out of nowhere with a sick surprise. Wisps of smoke puffed out of my nostrils and my eyes hazed over with the fire. Soon, my fur started to tingle.
My mate's bond grew stronger by the minute. I suddenly stopped and the whole pack stopped behind me. Sucking my surroundings through my nostrils, I tried to make a scent out of the forest. My eyes widened as I picked up a cinnamon scent that could make my mouth water.
Zayn.
Was he here?
My wolf's eyes lit up quickly with more fire burning in its core. I began walking faster before breaking into a run. The whole pack got the message and ran behind me. I dodged different trees as I tried to follow his amazing scent.
I'm coming baby.
Soon, we arrived at a clearing and my wolf stopped abruptly staring around.
No Zayn but his scent was stronger than ever here. I howled loudly hoping for an answer but all we got was a light wind that blew through our furs.
I walked forward and finally noticed a clearing two meters away. The moonlight showed brightly there making the leaves stand out as their yellow color became more beautiful and evident. It was a large clearing like a fighting ground.
I took in a deep breath already realizing that this was the clearing the idiot was talking about. I frowned slightly and growled making my razor-sharp teeth come into view. My friends walked to stand beside me as we took in the view.
I went to the middle of a large clearing with my friends while the warriors quietly stayed in the shadows. It was a shame that we couldn't mind link since Zayn had not wolf-marked me yet.
I looked at my friends already thinking about making our presence here noticed and I could almost see Avery's wolf nod. Turning back to the clearing, my wolf howled loudly.
The birds in the trees flew away because of its force and sharpness of it.
I'm here you witch. I thought as I looked around.
Nothing.
I frowned as I stared back at my friend's confusion before a thought crossed my mind making my eyes widen in horror. My pendant shone for some reason as it hung on my neck.
This was a trick.
Our pack—
I turned around and shot through the forest headed for home like a wild animal. Everyone got the message and dashed for the pack house while howling with every single step they took. I increased my speed as I ran with a dreaded feeling in the pit of my stomach.
Getting there, we looked as we saw rouges flying at the warriors we had left behind.
They were uncountable yet I could see no Avalon. Rogues were in countless numbers making the situation less possible. I frowned at my weak thought and shook off my doubts.
They came to my home. They will pay for it.
I ran towards the battle and leaped towards a rogue holding his neck between my teeth and biting it off. The blood-stained my white fur but I didn't care. My wolf was bigger than the others giving me a better advantage.
Heat built up in me as I jumped to the middle of the battle.
Growling loudly, I felt the heat leave my body in waves. Emitting them from my fur as far as it could go. I left the burnt wolves and jumped to another.
Where were that witch and my mate?

The chains held my hands as I stared around the dark cell. The guard who fed me his blood was gone. I had killed him. I took another look at his corpse and remembered our final conversation.
♾
A clanging sound enveloped the cell and turned to see my guard standing at the silver door.
I raised an eyebrow at the guard knowing I already fed from him not long ago.
"Time to gain more energy Alpha." He pressed and I shook my head giving him a surprised look.
"I just fed from you not long ago. One more suck and your wolf won't take it."
He shook his head too and knelt beside me. "Just listen to me, please. You need to. It's a few more hours from now."
