The flight from America to Japan was long and boring but I was happier I was going I had been preparing my whole life for this and I was grateful because I wasn't sure it would even happen. But soon enough the plane landed and I had never been more excited in my life I run off the plane and grab my luggage. I walk into the busy airport looking for my aunt bumping into many people. I finally see her, sitting in a chair looking at a magazine with two coffees next to her. I sigh in relief now that I found a familiar face. "Aunt Ana!" I call out to her she looks up at me and smiles then she gets up and we run over to eachother. It had been so long since the last time we had seen eachother (ITS BEEEN SO LONGG SINCE LAST I'VE SEEN MY SON LOST TO THIS MONSTER) we hugged each other tight "look how grown up you are y/n. You look just like your father. Come on now I got you some coffee lets get out of here and head to the house." I nodded in agreement.
We laughed and talked the entire car ride to her house. Even though we barely saw each other since we live in different countries, I'm closer to her than my mother. Before she moved, she always had my back when standing up against my mother just like my dad she was always around but when she got married, she moved to Japan because her husband had graduated college and wanted to move back home. I was devastated when she left but I couldn't blame her. I would've done the same.
We had finished laughing about a story I told. "Wow y/n a lot has happened since I left. You're so grown up now I'm proud of who you have become." I smiled at this "thank you I want to be like my father." "He would be so proud of you the way that you stood up to your mother and the way you care for other people you really are amazing y/n." Then she smirks as she's ready to change the subject. "Soo your 14 now you got a boyfriend yet?" "No I haven't thought of boy's recently I've been busy training I don't need a boyfriend plus mom would chase them all away anyway she thinks boys are a distraction from work." "Thats not what you'll be saying when you get to U.A high school guys are more mature and definitely something to look at." I laughed "yeah right I can't imagine me having a boyfriend."
We pull into the driveway and she puts the car in park "alright you can have the guest room I'll show you to it make yourself at home. I get out of the car and grab my luggage walking into a house full of noise. My younger cousins 6 and 10 at the table coloring. While my uncle sat with them they look up to see us at the door. "Mommy's here with y/n!" They run up and hug me. "Hello y/n you look lovely." My uncle said "Thank you I think I'm gonna go to my room I had a long flight I'm exhausted." "Oh of course. Dinner will be ready soon nice to finally see you again make yourself at home." I smiled and my aunt happily showed me to my room. I put my AirPods in and played (favorite playlist) as I unfolded my clothes and put them away in the empty dresser.
When I was done I flopped onto my bed and fell asleep. I was woken up by the family dog Poppy licking my face. I giggled "Hi Poppy." I checked the time on my phone 6 pm. I had been asleep for three hours. I sat up and stretched I took off my sweatshirt and threw on a spaghetti strap crop top and went down stairs. I could smell dinner being made my aunt looked up and smiled "oh your up! Just in time for dinner." I put my hair up in a ponytail and sat down. My ten year old cousin Elizabeth and my 6 year old cousin Evan (see what I did there?) sat at the table. "Mommy is y/n going to be living with us?" Elizabeth asked "well we'll see if she gets into U.A she will be yes." She smiled "well then you better get into U.A y/n. "Don't worry I will." "Thats my niece." Aunt Ana smiled proudly. "So when I get into U.A and move in with you can I decorate my room?" "Of course you can since you'll be living with it do what you want to make it feel like home. I want you to feel comfortable here this will be your second home when you aren't with your mother."
"So y/n" my uncle said sitting down with his plate. "What are your plans when you get into U.A? You're studying to become a hero?" "Yep I'm gonna become one and I'll be at the top." I smiled confidently. He laughed "I like that plan." We finished dinner and played a board game which Evan won. I checked my phone 9pm "ok this was fun but I want to get my makeup work done so I don't have to worry about the rest of this week and then I'm gonna go to bed." "Ok don't go to bed too late." I nodded and walked upstairs I threw a sweatshirt back on and did all my work for that week it took three hours but I got it done I checked my phone 11pm I put my school work away and went on the Netflix app and watched anime for an hour before going to sleep at midnight. I woke up the next day at 11 am and walked downstairs to my aunt watching tv. "Good morning" she said your breakfast is in the fridge. "Ok thank you" I said "wheres my cousins and uncle?" He's at work and Elizabeth and Evan are at school. "Oh thats right it's monday isn't it?" My exams are Wednesday. "Yep but you'll do great now lets have a girls day before they get home."
