Lucas's pov
Almost two weeks have passed since the whole situation between Holly and Sam happened.
And let's just say... it has been awkward.
The thing that really sucks is that I'm almost positive that the girls still haven't told Cody about Hollys little crush on Sam. He seems to be completely clueless about everything.
And what I mean by that is him asking Sam and I "Where are the girls? Haven't seen them in awhile"
Ya you haven't seen them in awhile because Sam just broke Hollys heart dumbass and of course the girls are going to be on her side about this.
So I guess that's why we are here right now, floating on our surfboards explaining the whole story to Cody.
"So after knocking like fucking fifty times she finally opens the door with a huge smile on her face" Sam explains.
"She was probably happy to see you because you pretty much told her you liked her back even through you didn't" Cody mumbles.
"No shit" Sam yells as he continues on with the story. He's really getting annoyed.
So far I haven't really been paying much attention to this conversation. I mean I have been trying to help Sam this whole time but I'm honestly starting to get sick of it.
I hate drama. In my opinion it's just another stupid argument that no one actually ends by apologizing and forgiving each other, they just continue to talk shit on the other person.
"Lucas" Cody says with a stern look.
"Oh what? Sorry I zoned out" I quickly said. It was the only excuse I could come up with at the moment.
"Why didn't you tell me any of this?"
"I thought you knew, especially since literally the whole group knows"
"Well of course I don't know. No one ever thinks to tell me what's going on." Cody says while rolling his eyes.
"And what, that's supposed to be my fault?" I shrug with a laugh.
"No, it's just annoying that I'm always the last person to be told."
"Look man I'm sorry this whole time you didn't know about it but it's pretty much over and I'm okay now." Sam spoke up. Resting his hand on Cody's bare shoulder.
With that being said I look over towards the beach at the shake shack where the girls usually sit and hang out while we surf but instead their not there. They haven't been there ever since Sam told Holly the truth. I continue my gaze down the beach a little further when I spot girls but not Holly, Kalani, and Breielle. Other girls that I've never seen before.
And what are they doing? It looks like three of them are posing while others take pictures of them. That's so weird.
"You looking at them too?" Sam questioned as he stared towards them.
"Ya, wondering what their doing"
"Probably modeling or some fancy shit like that" Cody scoffed.
"Or just some teenage girls on vacation trying to get the perfect pictures for their Instagram" Sam laughed causing him to almost loose balance and fall off his board.
I sent him a smirk as a very rude idea popped into my head. "How about we go ruin their pictures then?" I whispered.
Both Cody and Sam just stared at me as I began paddling their way. The waves weren't very big right now so it was hard to surf but I tried as best as I could.
I paddled and paddled until a wave finally came and then I pushed myself up standing and focusing on my balance. A smile made its way onto my lips as I surfed. I enjoyed surfing so much. It was one of my favorite things to do. Probably because I tend to forget about everything else and only pay attention to my board and the water.
By now the boys have understood what my plan was and are now following me close behind. We're shouting and laughing. Having the time of our lives when suddenly the people start shouting at us.
"Excuse me! Where trying to take pictures over here and you guys are in them!!" One of the people shout.
Sam sends me a look saying "this is too good" as we just ignore them and continue.
Eventually we start getting bored but the waves start getting bigger and bigger and we start jumping and doing crazy tricks to entertain ourselves. And maybe to show off to the three girls.
I notice one of them point at me with a smile on her face. Damn she's hot and seeing her wear that bathing suit just makes her look even better.
I get caught up with starting at her when I don't see the giant wave rushing towards me. I run out of time to do anything so I quickly jump off my board diving into the water, hoping that the wave rolls over quickly.
But it doesn't.
I get pushed deeper under water as the pressure slowly becomes to much to handle. I don't know how much longer I can hold my breath for. I realize that I'm going to drown if I don't start to swim back to the surface so that's what I do.
I kick my legs and paddle with my arms to get to fresh air. I was so close to giving up but I made it as I broke through the surface, gasping for air. I look around and see my board not too far so I swim to it. By the time I reach it my arms and legs are tired and I can hardly move.
The waves slowly push me into shore as I just lay on my board, breathing heavily.
"Holy shit, are you okay?!" I hear as I finally touch the sand.
I don't respond, instead I just continue to lay there still trying to catch my breath.
"Fuck I think he's dead!!" Another voice says, sounding extremely worried.
I finally look up weakly and turn my head to the two girls leaning over me with terrified looks on their faces. It immediately makes me laugh and I soon earn a scowl from one of them.
She's brunette with dirty blonde streaks, long eyelashes, and the fullest lips I've ever seen. she's the girl I was staring at before I almost died. She's beautiful.
"Um hello? Are you okay?" The other girl asks still sounding a little worried.
I open my mouth to respond but then get cut off.
"He's fine. He just got done laughing at us." Said the one girl.
"Ok thanks for interrupting me. Yes, I'm okay. That's not the first time that has happened." I responded finally looking at the girl who asked the question.
She has golden blonde hair, rosy cheeks, and pretty green eyes that honestly could almost be grey.
"Girls, Tracy said to be done for the day since these annoying surfers can't seem to leave and she has already gotten enough good photos for todays shoot." Another voice pipes up from behind the two.
She has dark pin straight hair that's pretty much black, a pointy nose, and siren eyes that make her look ten times more intimidating than the other girls. She's definitely the leader of the three.
But still I couldn't peel my eyes away from that one girl. The brunette one with full lips. The one that almost made me die. I looked her slowly up and down which I know she could of taken rudely but I couldn't help it.
She quickly wrapped her arms around her stomach and crossed her ankles. Looking down shyly. I could tell I made her feel insecure, even though she shouldn't be.
"Um well this is awkward" I said slowly because it was true. This is awkward and I don't really know anything else to say. "What are you names?"
"Kaitlyn" The intimidating one said.
"Grace" The blondie said quietly.
"Millie" The brunette one said after a little hesitation.
Millie I thought. Damn she even has a cute name.
"Yooo Lucas! You trying to pull some girls or what?" Cody yelled from the water. I could barely see him because it was getting dark.
"Nah, just might have almost died that's all!" I shouted back.
"Alright, well let's go then. It's getting late and now is not the same to be out in the water." Sam said loudly.
He was right. Surfing is dangerous at night. "Okay I'm coming!!" I quickly yelled.
Before I could even realize what I was doing I quickly wrote my phone number in the sand and told the girls to text me. Then ran off into the freezing water to join my friends.
I really hope Millie texts me. Or at least one of them so that I can possibly see her again.
Ooooooo Lucas has officially met the girls. Even better... he met Millie.😍😍
