Chapter 4 : The darkest night

•Karina's POV•

After the break time, i came back to my class with Giselle, the next lesson is about to start but i feel so tired now, i then lay my head on the table and close my eyes to take a rest.

Suddenly someone tap on my shoulder, i slowly look up to see who is it and there's Jeno who's standing in front of me of me, i'm still waiting for him to say something, then he said,

"You said you want to thank me for taking you back home right ?.....Then how about having a date with me today after school ?"

Everyone in the whole class gasped in shock about what he just said, even i didn't believe it too, i looked at him in disbelief, like i couldn't hear it clearly, while he's still looking at me waiting for my answer.

I then took a deep breath and said,

"If it's that what i can do to pay you back, then it's my honor."

The other students started to gossip about me, Giselle then looked at me and said,

"Hey, are you crazy ?.... You want to have a date with the prince ?"

I'm about to answer her but Jeno already said,

"Hey, just wait for me in front of the school after our class end, remember ?"

I just nodded, he then came back to his seat, while me, i'm holding my chest because i can already feel my heart is beating like crazy now.

Although i couldn't see but i think my cheeks are red like tomato because my whole body is heating up, suddenly Giselle said,

"Hey are you okay ?.....Are having a fever now ?"

I just shook my head and nervously said,

"No-no, i'm to-totally fine."

I just said that although i know it's definitely a lie, but i was glad that Giselle didn't ask me anytime else, so i opened my book and continued the lesson.

•Winter's POV•

I'm sitting between Haechan and Renjun, actually it's so uncomfortable hear beside these guys, Haechan keeps telling stories about his childhood with his brothers while Renjun is just keep silent and read his book, it feels like you're sitting between a fire and an ice block.

Renjun is so quiet that i didn't dare to take even just a quick glance at him, meanwhile Haechan who's sitting my left is talking nonstop,

"You know it's hard for me to persuade my dad to let you go to school with us, he's a person who never changed his mind once he decided something."

Ge has said that to me for like almost ten times already, but he's still didn't get bored, then he continued his story,

"Actually Jeno isn't my blood related brother, but...."

Renjun suddenly said which made both me and Haechan looked at him,

"Can you just stop talking ?......There's something you shouldn't tell the others."

I saw Haechan just pouted, but what made me think more is what he just said, so now that i know Jeno isn't their real brother, but it's none of my business and that's something i shouldn't care about.
