Made to Suffer & The Suicide King
. . .
You guys managed to arrive at the town Michonne was talking about. It was indeed big. You scanned the entrance with the small group from afar, hiding behind a broken car. There were guards up the walls, taking watch. You guys had to find a way in but how? Michonne suddenly walks off, alerting you guys.
"Hey! Hey!" Rick whispered, calling out for her but she already had walked off. "Damn it." He rasped. "All right, we need to downsize." Rick continued to say quietly as he switches firearms with Oscar. You pursed your lips, eyes on the big gate. "How the hell are we going to find Glenn and Maggie?" You sigh. It seemed impossible due to the town having a lot of buildings inside. They could be anywhere.
"Yeah, ain't no way we're gonna check in all them buildings." Daryl nods, carefully looking at the standing men on top of the walls. "Not with all them guards there.." He points out. A twig snapped, grabbing your attention. You swiftly turned around, pointing your rifle at the figure. You lowered your gun down, recognizing the person. It's Michonne. It seems like she found a way in. "This way." She mouthed the words, making you guys follow her immediately.
You guys continued to follow the woman into some secret way into a pantry or something. You guys went in one by one, looking around. They had a good amount of supplies. "This is where you were held?" Rick questioned. Michonne sighed. "I was questioned."
"Any idea where else they could be?"
You and Daryl ran up to the curtain, taking a peek out the window. You looked at the people normally walking and having conversations. They looked like they were living a normal life. Huh. "Isn't there supposed to be a curfew?" You confusedly asked the woman. "The street is packed during the day. Those are stragglers." She answered.
"If anyone comes in here, we're sitting ducks. We gotta move." Rick says, peeking out the window as well. He was right. Someone might enter and you guys might get captured. "We still don't know where they held Glenn and Maggie." You added, turning around to look at Michonne. "They could be in his apartment." The woman replied, giving useful information.
"Yeah? What if they ain't?" Daryl gave her a look. "Then we'll look somewhere else." Michonne glared. Rick then leaves the window, making his way behind the woman. "You said you could help us."
"I'm doing what I can." She says with a low voice.
"Then where the hell are they?" Oscar continued to ask before Rick spoke up. "Hey." He looked at you and Daryl, tilting his head to the side as he walked to the back. You immediately followed, the two men right behind you. "If this goes south, we're cutting her loose." Rick tells the three of you, still having zero trust for the woman. "You think she's leading us into a trap?" Oscar asks.
"Nah, that's too.." You shrugged, having no idea. Something inside you was telling you that this woman should be trusted. "Right now it's the blind leading the blind. Let's split up." Daryl recommended. "Isn't that too risky?" You say, not sure. Out of nowhere, there was a knock on the door. "Shit." You let out. You guys quickly hid behind the curtain at the back, not making any noise.
The man unlocked the door, opening it. He then shut the door, looking around. "I know you're in here. I saw you moving from outside." He spoke up, scanning the area. "All right, now. You're not supposed to be in here and you know it." He continued to say as he walked towards the back where you guys were at.
Rick gave you a reassuring look as the man got closer. You see the man right behind the curtain and you immediately attacked, pushing him against the wall. You examined the man's face as you pinned him into the wall. You gave him a sly smile before pushing him down to his knees. Rick bent down right in front of him with a gun pointed at his face. "Hands behind your back." Rick says with a glare. "Zip tie him."
You tossed the zip tie right to Daryl. He then harshly tied the man's hands together, zipping the tie tightly. "Where are our people?" Rick asks, sending him a deadly glare that it even kind of scared you. "I don't know." The man says quietly, not wanting to get hurt. Rick snapped, grabbing the collar of the man's shirt. "You are holding some of our people. Where the hell are they?"
"I-I don't know." The man repeated. You watched as Rick looked at him for a moment. "Open your mouth." He commanded, grabbing a white cloth from the bag. He stuffed it right in the man's mouth, preventing him from talking. Rick then nodded his head at you, giving you a signal. You flipped your rifle, hitting the man's head with your gun, knocking him out. Rick grabbed the end of the body, dragging it to hide it.
. . .
"You are good with her." Axel tells the blonde teenager who was gently rocking the baby. "You got little sisters?" He nicely asked. "No." Beth shakes her head. "How old are you anyway?" Axel asked, making sure the woman was the right age for him. He was quite interested in the girl. "Seventeen.." Beth looked at the man before focusing back on baby Judith.
"Seventeen. Interesting." Axel smiled, making Beth look at him, a bit uncomfortable.
Carol furrowed her eyebrows, jumping in. "May I speak with you?" She looks at the blond man with the weird mustache. Axel looked around before looking back at Carol. "Me?" He asked. Carol nodded at him before walking off. "I'll be right back." Axel smiled at the teenager before standing up and following the woman who had requested to speak with him.
"What's the problem?" Axel asks, meeting the woman by the stairs. "Stay away from her." Carol straightforwardly told the man. Axel then looks back at the cell where Beth and Carl was at. He then sighs. "Please.." He says. He really found Beth cute and now he couldn't flirt with her. "This isn't about you trying to repopulate the earth." Carol says.
"I didn't mean no offense. I've been locked up a long while and well.. there weren't many women. You following me?" Axel explained. Carol tilts her head, trying to hear out what the man had to say. "I mean, Maggie, she's with Glenn. Harley's probably hookin' up with that Daryl and you're.. a lesbian. I was just talking with her." Axel says, making Carol give him a look of disbelief. "I'm not a lesbian." Carol lets out a sigh as she smiled with her eyebrows knitted together.
Axel looks at her in confusion. "You got the.. short hair." Axel moves his hand around his head, explaining himself. Carol raises her eyebrows, slightly offended. "You're not a lesbian?" Axel asks.
