Chapter 24; The Death March

As time went on, everyone (except Yurui) got used to and accepted Saiyomi and Hiruma's relationship. When it came time for the NASA alien game, Saiyomi insisted on going with them. She acted as the cheerleader during the game. After their loss, at the airport, Saiyomi immediately sided with Hiruma to go on the Death March with them. "You know you don't have to come." Hiruma told Saiyomi as he drew a line on the pavement with the end of his gun. "I know. I want to do the Death March. There is no way I am going to let you have all the fun!" Saiyomi insisted. During the death march, she would run behind Hiruma, Sena, Monta, and the others. One day as they were taking a break, she noticed something odd in an abandoned building down the road.. "Hey guys, I'll be right back." Saitomi yelled to everyone that was far behind her as she started running towards the building. After she finally got to the building, she heard noises from inside. "This place is perfect. No one will suspect a thing!" One of the voices said. "Pipe down you idiot! No one can know that we are here!" A female voice scolded. "But if we aren't supposed to be here, why are we here?" A male voice asked. "You are both idiots! Don't you get it?! If we set up our operation here before anyone else, we can make the Union global!" The female voice boasted. "I have guys on the inside that are going to be here very soon with our equipment. All we need to do is get the subjects!" The female voice added. Saiyomi watched them from the shadows carefully and a few moments later, there was a loud banging on the large garage door in the back. "That must be them!" The female voice noted excitedly as she rushed to open the door to let a large truck into the building. Just as she opened it, Saiyomi jumped on her shoulders from above and pinned her to the ground while shutting the door. "What the?!" the 2 large males exclaimed as they stood in place frozen. "Get her!" The female ordered them as Saiyomi held her in place. "B-boss. I can't move!" one of the large males whined. "What the hell are you doing? Get off of me!" The female yelled as she tried to break free. "I know that you are from the Union. And let me tell you now, you will not succeed in going global." Saiyomi threatened as she moved her from the floor to up against a wall. "What the hell are you?" The female grunted as Saiyomi used her powers to form a chain around her to hold her to a nearby beam. As she turned her back, the female used her powers to break free of the chain. "Die bitch!" The female yelled as she summoned a blade and ran towards her. Hearing her yelling, Saiyomi quickly turned around and was able to jump out of the way. The 2 large males ran away and out of sight as the 2 females started fighting. "Cowards!" the female yelled as the door slammed shut. "Clearly you aren't a human." the female remarked as they fought. "Is it that obvious?" Saiyomi responded as she lunged towards her to break her blade. "What are you? You aren't from the Union or you wouldn't be trying to stop me." The female added. "Trying? No. I am stopping you and you know it." Saiyomi jested as she used her powers to make it rain small blades made of blood. "Blood magic? I've never seen such power like this! I take it that convincing you to join our noble cause is out of the question?" The female remarked as she tried to dodge the blades raining down. "Noble cause! Don't make me laugh!" Saiyomi replied as she made the blades stop and manifested a blood sword. "Suit yourself. Just don't come crawling to me when you realize how wrong you were!" The female commented as she lunged for Saiyomi. As Saiyomi slammed her down to the ground, the female managed to stab her in the ankle and pulled her down to the ground with her. Now filled with rage and adrenaline, Saiyomi used her powers to make her blood explode inside her body. "You. Bitch." Saiyomi muttered out of breath. "Hey boss, is it over?" one of the large males asked as he slowly opened the door. "B-boss?" the other large man stuttered as they walked into the room and saw all the blood. "I won't hurt you if you help me up." Saiyomi reassured them as they stood near the doorway frozen in fear. "Y-you promise?" One of the large men asked nervously. "Cross my heart." Saiyomi reassured them as she tried to stand on her own. The 2 large men walked over to her and helped her to stand. "I'm A-53 and this is my brother A-52." the smaller of the large men introduced them. "Saiyomi." She replied as they started to carry her out. "You 2 would be awesome at construction." Saiyomi noted as they walked out. "Y-you think so?" A-53 asked. "Well yah, I mean look at you guys! Tall, strong and good hearted. Tell ya what, you get me back to my friends and I will arrange for someone I know to pick you guys up and give you a fresh start away from the Union." Saiyomi offered as they reached the outside of the building. "How do we know that we can trust you?" A-52 asked cautiously. "Well you helped me up and you aren't dead." Saiyomi reminded them of their previous deal. "Oh yah. Deal!" they both said in perfect unison as Saiyomi used her powers to make the building and truck inside explode. "If you are going to start fresh, you will need names. How about Anthony for you A-52 and Andrew for you A-53?" Saiyomi suggested as she pointed in the direction of where her friends were. "It's perfect!" Anthony and Andrew exclaimed happily in unison. After walking a few miles, they came across Saiyomi's group. "Guys! I'm back!" Saiyomi yelled to them as they were running and pushing the truck. As they got closer, the group stopped to take a break as Anthony carried Saiyomi on his back. "Where the hell have you been?" Hiruma scolded her as Anthony set her down in the bed of the truck. "What happened? What did you do to her?" Hiruma yelled as he pointed his guns at them. "It wasn't them. I'm fine." Saiyomi commented as Anthony and Andrew were frozen in fear. "Besides, they wouldn't hurt a fly." Sayomi added as Hiruma put his gun down. "This is Andrew and Anthony." Saiyomi noted before introducing them to the group. Hiruma wrapped her ankle and used some bags and a blanket to elevate it. As he was moving her foot on the pile, Saiyomi screamed out in pain. "Don't worry, this won't last long. I'm a quick healer." Saiyomi reassured the group as they stood around her on the truck. Later that evening, a construction truck pulled up to the group to pick up Anthony and Andrew. "Thank you again for everything!" They both yelled out the window as it drove away.
