There are millions of tiny things in this world, a million little reasons why certain things are not meant to happen.
And one of them is why I can't fall in love with an Idol.

Finally! I am Home...
Crossing my cardigan over my chest I walked towards the Land Rover with Tani right beside me. My hair was blowing away from the strong winds produced from the aircraft's engine and everything was dark around us except for the artificial lights and the Land Rover's head lights. I immediately took my place in the backseat as Tani followed my action.
I greeted my old driver with a sweet smile as he greeted me back in Hindi. We both had a small conversation as I asked him about his family and especially his sweet granddaughter who was 3 years old when I left the country.
My phone pinged with notification as I opened it to find Dalhyun's message,
Dali💜 I think you would have landed by now
Me: Yeah, just landed What're you doing?
Dali: Going for work
Me: Ah okay, btw You can call me whenever you want There is only 3 hours and 30 minutes time diff
Dali: Okay ;)
I smiled as I kept my phone away and leaned my head on Tani's shoulder. First the driver dada would drop off Tani then me as her house was closer to the airport.
Tani lives in a proper house, like a small mansion with her joint family of doctors. Though doctorate comes in science Tani had technically choose physics and chemistry, the STS program in Stanford since she hated biology. In the initial years it was very difficult to convince her family but in the end she succeeded and now she is happily studying her favourite subjects.
After dropping off Tani, driver dada drove me to my house as I kept glancing outside at the streets lights shining on the empty road. My driver dada is one of the most trusted staff of my family hence he came to pick up when the whole city is far asleep otherwise I'm pretty sure that my parents or my brother would've come to pick me up.
I called my driver, driver dada since he is an ol' man with a huge family of five children and eight grandchildren. It would've come out as a surprise to you but this is very common in India, especially among the poor. Though our government is trying to make people aware of protection it doesn't really matter among with poor. They think more the children, more the income which is so wrong.
When we reached my house, or shall I say building, I stepped out and stretched my limps as driver dada took out my suitcases and duffel bags. I took one of the suitcases from him and the duffel bags to reduce the pressure on him, he is an old man after all, his shoulder and legs have gone weak.
He thanked me politely as I smiled and we both walked inside then stepped into the elevator. I clicked the floor button which is the common one for the family, where the living room, the kitchen, the dining room, a master bedroom and the puja room resides.
When the elevator dinged opened, I walked out with my heeled boots clicking against the marble floor. A smile took place on my face, as I walked through the familiar foyer with a big modern chandelier chosen by me when we designed this floor.
As I walked deeper, I heard heavy footsteps and immediately recognised it as my father's. "Oh! my moon is here!" I heard my mother exclaimed as I grinned and immediately ran towards her leaving my suitcase and the bags behind.
I hugged her tightly as she stumbled a bit but pops caught us as he hugged me too. I sighed happily, after being in arms of my parents. Then I felt one more body wrap around us and I knew that Siddy has joined us too.
"Oh! My whole family is here," my mother exclaimed as we separated. She kissed my whole face as I giggled. "Look at you! How you've grown up!"
I smiled as I thanked her and complimented her, "and you look beautiful as always."
"And you look handsome as always dad," Siddharth added to tease me as we all laughed.
"Don't worry son, I know that I look like an ol' man in front of you mother." He kissed her temple as he pulled her in her arms while Siddharth wrapped an arm around my shoulder.
"Come on, let's get you settled down," mom said as she grabbed my hand and started dragging me towards the elevator. I waved at my father and my brother as I let my mother drag me away. "Do you wanna eat something? I know that you would want to rest, but don't sleep empty stomach."
"I ate pasta," I smiled sheepishly as she shook her head with a small smile.
"You need to tell me so much! Let's catch up in afternoon, I've a taken a holiday tomorrow."
"Sure," I smiled tightly as I thought of Tani's words. I should have a talk with my mother.
"I got your floor all cleaned up and set up just like the way you like it." She said as we entered my floor, "do you want me to wake you up for breakfast?"
I shook my head, "I'll sleep through the breakfast." She nodded, "chalo, I shall get settled now. Good night momma."
She smiled and kissed my forehead, "Good night my little moon. I'm so happy that you're finally home." I gave her a tight smile again and watched her walk back into the elevator. I turned around and took in my floor.
All four of us had our own floors, though mom and dad share one since they're married, duh. Whereas, I've my own floor designed according to my needs, I've a big living room with an attached open kitchen. The foyer had a grey and white theme with a wall of music aesthetic and big a chandelier of my taste.
I walked farther into my floor as I came in front of my living room. My living room didn't have much, but it was like those from movies and series, I hadn't designed my living room and my kitchen since I knew that I would spend least of my time there but I had told the interior to keep it grey with little bit of black and golden and make a small space for my vinyl records which had turned into a large one covering most of the wall near the tv.
On one side of the living room I had the entrance to my infinity swimming with the view of the city. On the other side there was my open island kitchen. And as I step deeper I see the passage leading to my room, my painting room, my library and my study room.
I finally stepped into my big princess size bedroom with the interior of an badass queen. Who has never been a fan of colour pink... you can't expect her to have a princess room.
Again, the bedroom's interior was majorly grey with little of black and white. I wanted an all black interior but my mother isn't a fan of dark colours so we went with grey. Win, win.
