Isabel and Dallas had arrived at Buck's and got into their rooms. A few nights later, there was a party going on downstairs. Of course Isabel wasn't a big fan of parties so she stayed in her room while Dally went downstairs, of course to find Delilah. He was head over heels for her and would probably give her a kidney within a heartbeat if she needed one. Delilah stood in the corner of Buck's bar, she and the gang being there for some party. A group of guys talked to Delilah, flirting drunkenly and dizzily.

Darry tried to supervise his youngest brother, making sure he wasn't getting into anything he shouldn't. Dallas was wandering around the party. A part of him wanted to see Delilah and her friends there but he didn't get his hopes up. He ordered a beer, his first time drinking. It wasn't all that bad. He continued to walk around until he saw Delilah in the corner, she looked pretty uncomfortable. He decided to go over and talk to her. "Hey man, are these guys giving you any trouble?" He asked her. "Dallas, hey." She smiled, walking off with him to get away from the drunken group of guys. "Thanks, really. Hate when that happens." Soda stood in the middle of the room awkwardly, looking around for someone he really knew.

Abel realized she was out of water and walked downstairs in her t-shirt and jeans and goes to the bar and asked for some more water. She looked over, recognizing Soda's voice, "hey man! It's loud in here, how are you down here" she laughed. Soda smiled, looking down at the beer he held in his hand. He rarely drank. "Gang wanted to come." She looks around confused "where are they?" Soda grinned at Abel, pointing out the greasers to her. "And, Delilah's over there with your brother. Expected huh?" She chuckled, "yeah i'd expect them to be making out right now, so this is a little unexpected." She smiles up to him. "Well anyways I will be in my room, 3rd door on the right if you need a break from the party" she smiles one last time and walks upstairs with her water.

Soda nodded his head in acceptance. She smiled and placed her hand on the hand that was holding the beer then started to walk upstairs. Soda smiled as the girl touched his hand, watching as she went upstairs, following behind shortly after. She gets to her door and pulls out her key from her pocket. Soda waited for Abel to open the door, following her in when she did so. She looks back and sees him following her and decides to waves him over to her and walks in the room. She grabs sodas hand and walks into her room and closes the door behind them.

Soda smiled, stuffing his hands in his pockets. She goes and sits on the bed and lays against the back of the bed and pats next to her and grabs her book and puts it on the nightstand. Soda sat next to her quietly, looking at the book she sat down. "You like reading?" She smiles and looks at him deeply with her green eyes and replies "yeah, you?". "Nah. Too dumb for that stuff." He said, embarrassed. "I like drag races though, and rodeos." She looked at him "I've never been to one, are they fun?" "Thought ol' Dallas rode in rodeos? Sure you ain't ever been ta one?" Soda commented. She chuckled "No I guess I haven't." Isabel turned to soda and caught him staring at her. "Soda?" "Hm?" Soda hummed, nibbling on the edge of his lip out of nervousness, turning to look at the girl next to him.

She looked at his lips and back to his eyes. She put her hand on his face and leaned in. She pauses, she can feel his warm breath against hers, like sun to her skin. She asked "can I kis-" Soda's lips turned up to a grin, pulling Abel close and kissing her gently, not even listening to what she had to say. He was pulled into her lips like a magnet to metal. Nothing made sense in that moment, just that the kiss was the best thing that happened to them. They kissed, after one day. Nice job Isabel, she thought to herself. She could feel herself getting closer to him as he touched her hips, pulling her closer. She loved the feeling of his cold hands on her hip.
