The hooded man walked through the city searching for possible clues of Rip and Vieto's whereabouts. He asked beggars, prostitutes, and any other people who would typically have knowledge about the streets. He asked the local authority as well as the imperial authority for possible leads on the two. Eventually, he had found out about their dealings with Calverto. The stranger made his way to Calverto's bar in the outskirts of Vetrum. The stranger arrived at the bar and made his way to the bartender. The tender had slick back brown hair and a goatee.

Bartender: "No hoods."

Stranger: "My apologies."

The stranger removes his hood revealing the face of a Frezal. It was Ver-Kaal. The bartender looked at Ver-Kaal, almost shocked at his presence.

Bartender: "I haven't seen your kind around here before. What business do you have here?"

Ver-Kaal: "I need to speak to Calverto Dirreni."

Bartender: "You want to speak to my father? Who are you? Any business with him can go through me."

Ver-Kaal: "Tell him I am seeking out these men."

Ver-Kaal handed the bartender the wanted sign.

Bartender: "Oh... Them... I'll go let him know you're requesting him."

The bartender left Ver-Kaal standing at the bar. Ver-Kaal received suspicious stares from multiple patrons. He did not acknowledge them, but simply stood patiently waiting for the tenders return. A few moments later the tender returned.

Bartender: "He'll see you. Follow me."

The bartender escorted Ver-Kaal to the back room. They arrived at the same door Vieto passed through days ago. The same two Kranai men stood guard. Both of the guards followed Ver-Kaal into Calverto's office.

Calverto: "So, you must've come far looking for me... Well, I guess it isn't me you're looking for."

Calverto sat the wanted poster on his desk and slid it to Ver-Kaal.

Calverto: "I'm guessing you want to know where they are."

Ver-Kaal: "Yes, and I would be most grateful if you would tell me where that may be."

Calverto: "I'm sure you would. Maybe you can help me out. They got a big reward on their heads and I know that's what you're after. I don't care that these bastards screwed over all those poor fools and brought this bounty onto themselves.. But I do care that they robbed me! Nobody robs Calverto Dirreni!"

Ver-Kaal: "You will tell me where they are then?"

Calverto: "Hold on friend, I'm not finished. What I was saying was that they got a big reward on their head courtesy of the imperial court. Lucky for you I got a lot of money. Much more than the empire will pay. I'll double that reward if you bring them to me instead."
