Auntie Abby and Little Ali

The car ride

Ali's Pov:
I look straight in front of me to see a four door SUV in front of me with my favorite person sitting in it my aunt abby my eyes light up as i catch a glimpse of her but i feel a chill on my body as i walk up to my car its thirty two degrees outside and im wear shorts and a t shirt Auntie gets out of the car and looks at me " my baby " she grabs me with her big strongs arms and i instantly cling on as i smell her sweet victoria Secert purfume on her chest as i bury my head in her chest "i missed you sweet girl "she says in most calming and reassuring voice  "you wanna come home with me for alittle while? " she looks at me this time in my eyes i look back at the house from her arms and nod " thats my baby " she says with a sympathetic smile she carries me over to the car and as she opens the door i see brown hair with blonde highlights and blue eyes and i know exactly who she brought " MADDIE " i exclaim aunt abby sets me down in the passenger seat beside her she smiles and grabs me for a hug " Hi ali! " she hugs me tight and then i put on my seat belt "she wanted to come for the ride even though  it was extremely long " abby explains i reach over and grab maddies hand immediately and we latch our hand together abby grabs my plastic bag and closes my door and gets into the car and drives away I can see on maddies face as we pull away something is wrong I lean over and whisper " is everything things okay mads " she looks at me with solemn eyes she looks like me when auntie abby spins me around and i get dizzy im interrupted in my thought " so alibear your gonna come home with me for alittle while, your mom just needs some time for her self okay? we have a competition tomorrow so youll go with me to that and of course maddie and kenz will go too" she explains " okay" i said in a soft sweet voice she drives for a little and i hold maddies hand the whole time i rub the top of it with my thumb because i know thats what aunt abby does when somethings wrong with me all of a sudden I see a small sign on the highway with a restaurant and a bathroom on it " can we please stop ms abby i really have to go potty" maddie says with alittle urgency
Maddie's pov:
i knew eating burger king with ms abby wasnt a good idea. i hate burger king and it always makes me feel sick or gives me diarrhea i dont know why i picked that but now my tummy hurts and i cant tell ms. abby because it's embarrassing and i cant tell ali because she might tell ms abby so ill just sit here and pretend everything is fine i say to my self. all of a sudden my tummy starts hurting alot more and feeling like cartwheels are happening within inside me i need a bathroom i think. just then i see the exit sign that says rest stop " can we please stop ms abby i need to go potty " i said as urgently as i can without being alarming "sure mads but this is the third time we have stopped to use the bathroom are you sure everything is okay honey? " she says in a concerned tone "yeah my drink just was too big " i said as calmly as i can not to seem suspicious. just then my stomach begins to cramp and do even more cartwheels i stay quiet in so much pain as i watch her pull off the exit and into the parking lot of the rest stop she parks the car close and unlocks the door ali gets out first then me and i grab ali's hand once again as i walk somewhat quickly inside i see the bathroom and my stomach cramps up some more " ill be right back" i say feeling myself now sweating from all the pain im experiencing " ill come with you i have to go pee" ali says sweetly following me toward the bathroom. As soon as i know abby cant see us i run as fast as i can into the doors of the bathroom and into the stalls i lock the door and hear ali's follow in right after. she sits at the stall beside me. i panick but then i give up my body cant handle it i pull my pants down and sit and use the bathroom " ali im sorry " i say " why are you mads" she responds " because of the sound and the smell and all of it. i kinda dont feel that good right now. ms abby and i had burger king and it really hurt my stomach so much that we have been stopping at every rest stop because i need to go potty" i said as quickly as i possibly can before releasing everything into the toliet " its okay maddie do need me to do anything? why cant you tell aunt abby? " she says still sweet " well i dont wanna tell her because im kind of embarrassed about what my body keeps doing " i said my face now bright red and my heart pounding of embarrassment " please dont tell her als " i beg " dont worry mads i wont. ill even wait for you to be done to leave with you so she doesnt think anything is wrong" she says "thank you" i said now relieved. we sit until i finish and then we get out and wash our hands ali looks at me and gives me the biggest hug " what was that for " i smile alittle " because you're sick and i dont want you to feel bad " she smiles and says sweet again Ali has been my best friend since i met her when we were both two i dont get to see her very much but she is always so nice and caring to me im so happy we got to come and pick her up abby says she might be staying longer this time and i really hope so because she is one of my favorite people and i hope she gets to dance with me. " you feel hot maddie " she says she puts her hand on my forehead " i do ?" i reply ali for some reason can sometimes take pretty good care of me when i need her. once i got my knee cut open from riding my scooter and ali knew how to clean it and bandage it before any adults knew it happened. i wonder how ali knows all this stuff even though were only five years old. "yeah you do mad. maybe we should tell aunt abby just incase your sick. " she says "no al we cant she wont let me compete tomorrow if she knows somethings wrong " i said apprehensively she looks down " okay " she said quietly we walk out and back to the car and drive way. the whole way home to pittsburgh have to stop at almost every rest stop and i get more and more sleepy and dehydrated. ali holds my hands and goes into the bathroom with me everytime. we take turns saying we have to go so ms abby doesn't get worried. we finally get home around two in the morning since ali lives in north carolina and we live in pittsburgh. we pull on to my street and abby parks. my mom is standing outside of the front door " ill see you a few hours for competition babydoll. i hope you feel better by then. " she says calmly and nicely but i know shes on to me and i get out of the car and see my mom "your pale as a ghost mad " she exclaims " are you okay baby" "yes mommy im just tired" i walk inside and go straight to my bed to fall asleep since i have to be up in four short hours for competition
