Chapter 4

"I wondering what's taking daddy so long?" Peyton said to Sawyer but then sighed cause she remembered she can't talk. Peyton unbuckled Sawyer from her car seat and start to walk up to their old house. She opened the door and walked into their old house. It looked a lot different, different colored walls, new furniture, Peyton kinda missed it.

"Lucas?" She called but got no answer. She walked into the bedroom and saw a dirty blonde hair guy on top of Lindsay. Peyton gasped silently and covered Sawyer eyes and ran out of the house. Crying , Peyton put Sawyer in her car seat.

About 30 minutes later Lucas came out. He got into the car and started to drive back to the apartment.

"How was it?" Peyton asked.

"Good! It felt really really good." Lucas replied. Peyton closed her eyes tightly. She opened them and saw Lucas staring at her.

"Everything all right?" He asked.

"Everything is fine." She lied.

When they got back to the apartment it was about 2 o'clock. They went inside and just stood in the doorway silent for a moment when Peyton final spoke up, "I'm gonna go put Sawyer upstairs for her nap.

"But she already had a nap?" Lucas raised an eyebrow.

"She needs another one. I'm gonna put her down then I'm going to the store."

"Okay." She walked upstairs put Sawyer in her crib then went back downstairs.

"I'm leaving!" Peyton screamed to Lucas in the kitchen.

"Kay!"

Peyton went to their park and called Haley.

"Hello?" Haley said.

"Haley! I really need to talk to you."

"Sure, 'bout what?"

"Lucas."

"Oh yeah! Lucas told me someone rented your house for a movie!"

"Yeah... But that's not what I wanna talk about, well it kinda is but not exactly."

"Did something bad happen?"

"Yes." Peyton started to cry into the phone.

"Peyton what happened?!"

"L-L-Lucas slept with L-L-Lindsay." Peyton said trying not to sob.

"When?"

"Today when we went to go get some of our stuff from our old house."

"Did you seem them?"

"Yeah, me and Sawyer walked in on them."

"I'm so sorry Peyton. But your gonna talk to him right?"

"I'll talk to him today or tomorrow."

"We'll talk to him soon, if you get need to talk again call me."

"Okay, Thanks Haley."

"Have you talked to Brooke?"

"Not yet. I'm gonna call her right after you."

"Okay, well good luck."

"Thanks."

Haley hung up and Peyton started to dial Brooke's number. It rang but then went to voicemail.

"Hey Brooke, it's me, when you get this just call me, it's big. Okay bye." She hung up. She looked at the time. She left about an hour ago so she figured she should probably go back. Peyton got off the bench she was on and stared at the children on the playground. She saw two parents were playing with their daughter. She sighed and walked to the car.

"Lucas? I'm home." Peyton said. She walked into the kitchen and saw a note tapped on the counter.

I took Sawyer to mall to play in play thing. Be back at 6.

She sighed. "He's probably do it more with Lindsay." She thought to herself. She went to the fridge and grabbed something to eat. It was 5 o'clock. Lucas and Sawyer would be home in an hour. Peyton finished her dinner and went to the living room to watch tv. She flipped through the channels and couldn't find a good show. So she decided to talk a nap.

Peyton woke up to Sawyer on top of her bouncing. Peyton laughed.

"Hey sleepyhead." Lucas said.

"Hi Lucas. What time is it?" Peyton asked.

"8:30."

"Sawyer should we asleep by now!"

"She wanted to stay up to see her mom."

"Okay. Well I'm going to put her to bed." Peyton said and walked to Sawyer's room.

"Goodnight baby." Peyton whispered to Sawyer and kissed the top of her head.

Peyton walked downstairs and walked into the family room where Lucas was.

"Lucas. We need to talk." Peyton said.

"About what?" Lucas asked.

"L-L-Lindsay."
