Adelaide sat in the back row of chairs behind the district attorney who would be the one who'd fight for as one of the victims.
"How do the defendants plead?" The judge asks with a glance at Luke and Chase.
"Not guilty your honour." The attorney that is representing Luke and Chase says. Adelaide got up and left right then and there unable to stand the fact that the two people who kidnapped her get away with it. They didn't deserve a trial they deserved to put in jail for the rest of their natural lives.
Adelaide walked down the granite covered hall and couldn't help but feel as if her life was tumbling out of control. Without being kidnapped she would have been top of her class in college but now she couldn't go back without feeling pitied by everyone.
Pity, she didn't want to feel as if everyone felt bad for her, she wanted to feel alive and free. Adelaide walked out of the building and the press started firing questions at her but she never answered, she didn't want to give them the satisfaction. She didn't like reporters, they told lies. Even with voice recordings they would never get anything right.

Adelaide sat in her room staring at the black computer screen when there was a knock on her front door. She got up from her green swivel chair and walked out of her room towards the door to her apartment. Once she reached the door she flipped the lock and drew back the chain. Adelaide then opened the door.
No one was there but on the ground was a lime green envelope. Lime green was her favorite color and it was hard to resist the urge to pick it up. She was curious but unsure whether to pick it up or not. She didn't know who put it there or why but she suddenly felt like she was being watched and closed the door and locked it. She opened the envelope and looked at what was inside.
I hope this doesn't scare you but I will be waiting, where ever it is I'll be in the days after the trial. I'll be waiting for your call and I'll be watching you.
Besides the note there was a picture of Adelaide sitting at her computer and looking at the blank screen. Adelaide's knees buckled and she fell over. She was being stalked by one of the men that had kidnapped her. Chase never even looked at her without disgust but Luke only ever threatened to kill her.

Nicole sat in her living room watching TV when there was a knock on her door. She set the remote down and got up. Nicole walked to the door and opened it. No one was there but there was a small red envelope sitting on the floor. She picked it up and walked back into her apartment. Nicole closes the door and sits back down on the silver couch.
I hope this doesn't scare you but I will be waiting, where ever it is I'll be in the days after the trial. I'll be waiting for your call and I'll be watching you.
Included in the envelope was a picture of Nicole sitting on the same couch she was sitting on now. She was afraid so she got up and closed the curtains.

Samantha sat next to Amanda at the dining room table in Amanda's apartment. They each had gotten the same letter and were wondering if Adelaide and Nicole did also. They feared that is was true but where to scared to voice their opinions out loud. They knew they were being watched and there was no doubt about it.
"Do you think it's them? Stalking us?" Amanda asks voicing the question both didn't want to hear even if it had to be said.
"Anything is possible and it could be them just trying to scare us even more." Samantha says with a sigh. She wanted this to end, she wanted all of it to end and be over with. She wanted to feel safe out in the world but that just wasn't going to happen with those two men out and about.
"I just hope they leave us all alone and die in hell." Amanda says breaking the short silence that had been imposed. She was a christian but wasn't as God-fearing as her parents who always warned her about upsetting God. She wanted the press to stop trying to ask questions it wasn't.
"They won't, they won't ever leave us alone they will always try and find us and scare us. They'll never leave us to our own devices until they're dead!" Samantha fumes. She knew for a fact that their kidnappers had to die in order to leave them alone or else they'd do their best to scare them out of their wits.
"We are not killing them, that just isn't right!" Amanda says while standing up out of anger.
"I'm not saying we kill them! I'm just saying they have to die, they need to be tried and get the death sentence." Samantha replies out of anger. She didn't like the fact that her own friend thought she wanted to kill someone.
"You're right though." Amanda says before sitting back down. They both stayed silent for a while and Amanda messed with the place mat that sat in front of her.
"If only we could just tell them to go away and they would!" Amanda fumes with a sigh.
"No, they need to know that they are not aloud to stalk us and they need to know that we don't want them to do it any longer." Samantha laughs.
