Kings landing was always beautiful but it was at its most stunning during the summer. The sky was a brilliant blue barley a cloud in sight. It was the perfect day to be outside. The princess Rhaenyra couldn't agree more. Syrax screeches as they fly around in the clouds. Rhaenyra couldn't help but smile hugely. Careful to keep her mouth closed. When they were younger her older cousin Nathaleya would tease her and say if she flew with her mouth open she would get bugs in her teeth.

Rhaenyra starts to feel a little glum at the thought of her cousin. It's been nearly three years since they last saw eachother, of course they wrote to one another but it just wasn't the same. The young princess was so stuck in her head she didn't notice Syrax acting strangely, the dragon kept moving her head as if she was looking for something. It wasn't till Syrax took off as if she was chasing something was Rhaenyra knocked from her thoughts."Syrax skoros issi ao bē naejot! paez ilagon!(Syrax what are you up to! slow down!)" The girl calls out, pulling back on the saddle straps with all her might in attempt to get her dragon to slow down. They were going through the clouds now so she used one of her arms to shield her eyes. Water doused them as they broke through the clouds. The princess was finally able to see what had gotten Syrax so excited, it was Baleria. And if the she dragon was here then that meant...

"Hello little sister!" A cheerful voice shouts in high valerian. Baleria kept her wings at a steady pace keeping her in place. Her rider standing up, not fearing gravity, waving her hand wildly. A giant grin on her face, Nathaleya hadn't smiled like this in a while. It was nice. Rhaenyra couldn't help but mirror her expression, "Nat! What are you doing here?" Due to her last letter Rhaenyra didn't expect to see Nat for a few more days.

"I couldn't wait any longer to see you."

Rhaenyra givers Nat a look telling her she didn't believe her but didn't want to press the matter. Instead her smile turns into a smirk, "Syrax and I haven't seen you two in almost three years. I believe a race is in order." The youngest Targaryen teases. Nathaleya's cheery expression turns mischievous.

Back at the castle servants worked with haste as they prepared for the heirs tourney. Amongst the commotion the lady Alicent was on the search for her friend so they could attend their lessons. The princess's royal guard sir Harold Westerling walking beside her.

"Where in the seven is she?" Alicent asks the knight rhetorically. Her question seemed to be answered as two large shadows appeared above them. She cranes her neck back to look up. Seeing Syrax and Balearia zooming by neck and neck.

"It seems like the gods have provided you with an answer, my lady" he tells her teasingly, his expression a mix of amusement and worry.
