"can i sleep over? please?" you asked jj when you looked up at him from where your head rested in his lap. you knew he'd say yes, but you tacked on the last bit for good measure.

"i don't even know why you're asking," the blond responded, a hand running over your head. "john b isn't even here, but if he was, he'd be cool with it too." john b was over at sarah's to "study", but you and jj both knew there was going to be more than just studying going on.

"i wonder how studying is going for them," you joked when reached for jj's phone—it was the closest considering yours was charging in his room—to check the time. you were about to comment on how late it was when you noticed something else. "am i your lockscreen?"

"you, uh," jj's cheeks flushed into a light rose shade when he grabbed the phone from your hands, "you weren't supposed to see that."

"it's cute, j," you said before pressing a quick kiss to his warmed cheek. "i think i'm going to head to bed. 'you coming or what?"

"i'll be there in a bit."

you gave him a nod and made your way to his room. after you changed clothes and slipped into bed, you knew it wouldn't be much longer before you fell asleep, but you wanted to wait for jj.

"hey," jj called to you, "have you seen my hoodie?"

"noo," you mumbled into the pillow to seem less suspicious. jj couldn't really even see you in the darkness of his room. the only light came from the small bit of moonlight peeking through the window.

he stopped momentarily looking through the pile of clothes that sat in the chair in the corner and turned to you. "you're wearing it, aren't you?"

"maybe." his chuckle sounded throughout the room before you heard his footsteps get closer and the bed dip behind you.

"you're adorable, you know that?" jj muttered into your ear when he wrapped his arms around your torso to pull you closer to him.

"you may have mentioned it once or twice."
