Hi all!!
I have not forgotten about this book, I've just had a lot hit me in the past year. Discovered I have a congenital condition called malrotation, which means my intestines never rotated correctly in the womb and decided to cause symptoms last December/January. I had surgery in May for it and we found my intestine was beginning to twist, but luckily we fixed it and saved my intestine. However, due to the malrotation I have dysmotility of my colon, my duodenum is all jumbled up and squished into one small area so it can't get food through as quick so it gets backed up and I feel pretty nauseous for a while. After my surgery and the two additional admissions to the hospital, my GI issues have calmed down some. Still deal with nausea, my hiatal hernia and what not. However, my heart has no decided it wanted to join in and start problems.
My cardiologist said they're seeing cardiac patients develop POTS after abdominal surgery and they're not sure why. It can also happen due to covid, but I didn't have covid. At least, I didn't have any symptoms and tested negative. So, that might be my issue but we also have to check my pulmonary artery to make sure it isn't narrowing again. I was born with TGA (transposition of the great arteries) so my heart is a rather hot mess. All these health issues combined have been sending me for one hell of an adventure. But I'm getting energy back, I'm working from home now and feel a lot less stressed. I am working on part two for this book. I need to fully plan out the plot and character development needs to improve I think. While I'm doing this I'm creating new stories, including my newest one on here called "Deadly Attraction". It's a werewolf/fae book, if you wanna check it out!
I don't have confirmed date for release of the second book yet. Once I'm writing it and halfway done, I'll update you!
