Chapter 4

Hugo's POV

I woke up to goggles getting up. I look over and see his eyes were glowing... cyan... i quickly get up and start following him. As i was following him i knock something over. Oh shit. My life is over. I quickly hid behind a drawer. He turned around to look. Please dont see me.. please dont see me.. i quietly put my hand over my mouth and squeezed ny eyes closed. After a few minutes i squint my eyes open and he was gone. I rush outside and see Nuru charting stars. "WHERES GOGGLES?" i ask frantically. "Uhm he just went that way?" Nuru says point to somewhere. I start quietly walking to where she point and i see him. I was quietly following goggles through where he was going. I see hes going to the old place where sunflower was.i raise an eyebrow when i see a sign. Everything suddenly goes black.

Rapunzels POV

Me and Eugene were in my room trying to figure out what to paint on a blank part of my wall. "Sunshine, im surprised there is even a blank space." Eugene says getting up and hugging me from behind. "Im not sure what i should put... i could do Demanitus?" I say to him. "Sunshine, you've already done Vigor. Wasn't he technically Demanitus?" "I mean- yeah buuuuuttt, what if i forget?" I say raising an eyebrow. suddenly i start to get a massive headache. What could be causing this?  "Sunshine, you okay?" Eugene asks. "Yeah i just got a headache.. i think i want to lay down for a bit.." i say holding my head in pain. "Okay. Just tell me if you need anything" i says, kissing my forhead. I nod and he leaves the room. I go to lay down but the headache is getting worse and worse. Why is this headache hurting so much? I get up and walk out of my room. After roaming the halls for awhile, i run into mom. I lean against her and she hugs me. "Whats wrong, Rapunzel?" "I got this headache that wont go away.. its getting worse and worse by the second..." "Have you tried to take some medicine?" "No but i will thanks for the idea..". "Let me come with you, i was going in the direction of the medical room anyways" she says, shrugging. I nod and we make our may to the medical room. The nurses and docters bow to us. "Hello, Your Majesty's." A nurse says. "What brings you here?" "I have a really bad headache and its getting worse and worse. Do you think you could help?" I ask. "Of course we can. Please sit down on the table for me." Ask their checking me, i start to see black dots in my vision. "Your Majesty,  please stay up for us." A nurse says, panicked. I slowly start to fall asleep.

"Shes starting to wake up" i hear a voice say. I groan in pain and slowly open my eyes. The first thing i see is Eugene and mom looking down at me.  "What happened?" I say, sitting up. "You passed out, sunshine." Eugene says. "My headache went away!" i say, faking a smile. Mom and Eugene look worried. "Are you sure, Rapunzel?" Mom says. "Yes, im sure im perfectly fine!" I say, still having the fake smile on my face.

Nuru's POV

I slowly wake up. What happened?.. i look around and see that the sun was rising. Oh, i fell slept outside.. i get up and go inside. I see Quirin was cooking and Yong was happily talking to him. i smile and sit down. quirin smiles at me then his eyes widen. I raise an eyebrow and look at Yong, who was stifling laughter. "What?" Quirin smiles softly. "I think you made a new friend.." he says, continuing to cook. "You have a frog in you're hair." Yong says, still stifling laughter. I shriek and Yong grabs it out of my hair. Yong goes to put it outside. "So, Varian never really talked about the Eternal library,  did you find... Ulla?" He says hesitantly saying her name. i freeze. "Uhm im not sure i want to talk about it fully, but we found out... theres a darker side to her.." i say quietly looking down. He looks away. "Thank you, for telling me about it.." he says, smiling at me. Yong walks back in. "Hey Nuru, where is Varian and Hugo?" He says. "They didnt come back in?" Quirin looks over. "They didnt." He says in a worried tone. "We'll go look for them." I say firmly to Quirin. He has a relieved look on his face. "Thank you Nuru, and you too, Yong.." he says. We get up and leave. We were walking around for awhile. "Where could they be?" Yong says with a worried tone. I stop and crouch down to his height and hug him. "Yong, we'll fine them. I promise." I say , breaking the hug and smiling at him. He holds out his pinky.  "You pinky promise?" we intertwine our pinkys. "I pinky promise you Yong, we WILL find them" i say smiling at him again. I get back up to my normal height and we contine looking. After awhile we reach the sunflower monument. "Whats this place?" Yong asks. "This is where the sunflower was discovered and used to cure former Queen Arianna. But now the throne is taken by Queen Rapunzel and King Eugene." I say. "Uhm- i found them" Yong says. I look over and see varian and hugo asleep cuddled into eachother. Varian was normal Varian But hugo had two new neon green hairstripes. "Welp varian wont be the only one being called hairstripes now." Yong says, crossing his arms. I got over and slap hugo. Yong bursts out laughing, and that causes hugo and varian to get startled awake. "What happened??" Hugo says rubbing his eye. "You got hairstripes now, Hugo." Yong says in a humorous way and his eyes shoot open and he pulls out a mirror and looks. Varian stretches and gets up. Hugo is staring at him self in the mirror in shock. Varian rolls his eyes and helps Hugo up. They share a short kiss and Yong looks away in disgust. Both of them laugh. "So you guys are offical now" i ask, crossing my arms and smirking. Both of them laugh again. "Who asked first?" Yong asks eagerly. "Shockingly, Hugo asked first" Varian says. i grumble and pull out 20 dollars and hand them to yong and he grins at me. "You guys were betting, wernt you?" Hugo says, rasing an eyebrow. "I roll my eyes and Yong laughs.

Hugo's POV

we just got back to Quirin's and were relaxing now. I look at the necklace that has a green gem on it. The part wheres its being held is a fade in between yellow and green.Varian leans against me. "Whatcha doing?" "What is this necklace?" I say looking at him. he looks around and grabs my hand and gets up. I blush lightly and he takes us to him lab. He closes his door and locks it. "Woah take me out to dinner first, goggles." He rolls his eyes and i smirk. "So you know the black rocks i summoned before?" "Uhm yeah almost got stabbed by one, why?" "Do you know what the moonstone is?" "Only people who dont go outside wouldn't. Queen Rapunzel and her gang followed the black rocks from theeeeeeeeeee- oh my fucking god im blind" i say. "Well that stone USED to be yellow but i think it matched to your color code." He says holding up the stone. "So basically im the embodiment of the sundrop?" I ask. "Exactly. Im the embodiment of the moonstone so thats how i summomed the rocks." He says.i lean against him. "Im tireddddddd" i complain, knowing he is probably going to carry me to bed. "Okay lets get you to bed then." He says picking me up bridal style. I smile and lean into him. I love when he does this. He puts me down in his bed and lays down next to me. I cuddle into his side and fall asleep.

Varian's POV

He is such a bottom. I pull him closer towards me. As soon as i get close to falling asleep, ruddiger jumps on top of my face. I pick him up with one hand and put him on my chest. I just look up at the ceiling. "Hello, Varian" i hear a voice say.  "Uhm who are you?". "The moonstone, silly." I look over and see a beautiful woman. "Oh uhm. Hello then." I say. Never did i think i would be talking to the moonstone herself. "Its so nice to meet you, Varian. I see you have learned to control the rocks." The woman says, looking outside. "Uhm, kind of. Im still getting the hang of it." I say back to her. She walks over to me and puts a hand om my cheek. "Can you say hello to my son, Eugene, for me?" I gasp is realization. "You're the Queen of The Dark Kingdom." I say in disbelief. She smiles and nods. "Oh uhm, i can tell him." I say smiling at her. She hugs me and fades away. I lay back down and let myself fall asleep but with one thing on my mind. What. The. Flip flap patty wack was that?
