*Aria's P.O.V*

Over the next few days, I may have been freaking out constantly. I don't think anyone could blame me though since I was going to meet my biggest idol. Lexi however did threaten to kick me out to go stay with Athena.

Athena had been messaging me constantly the past few days. Mainly because I was messaging her and asking things about the conference. She had put up with it, always messaging my answers and soothing my fears. On a few occasions it was Adonis who answered my messages instead of her.

That was mainly because he would accidentally pick up her phone since theirs looked similar. Sometimes I thought he just said that to have an excuse to try and see my fashion designs. Athena had said he was very jealous of the fact that she had gotten to see them before he did. Apparently since we both designed, even though I designed clothing and he designed electronics, he should have gotten to see them first.

I supposed he had a point so I promised to not show her anymore until he got to see them first. He agreed to that, promising that he was going to the business conference just to see my drawings. That had amused me but Athena assured me that he was very serious. She said he had no plans on going until he got the promise of seeing my drawings.

Speaking of my drawings, I carefully combined all of my best ones in a folder. I debated on laminating them but sometimes I liked to edit my drawings over the years. It was very rare that I was ever truly satisfied with my drawings. I also decided to bring my sketchbook so that she could see all the drawings that I had done.

Once I was done with organizing my drawings, I started planning out my outfit for the day. I didn't have anything that I thought was suitable for a business conference. I ended up taking Lexi to a high end store, looking at a couple of dresses with her.

"You know what would look good? If you picked a dress to match both Adonis and Athena," Lexi told me as she helped me look through racks of dresses.

"I'm sure that would go over so well, me trying to match both Adonis and Athena," I said with a small frown.

"You could always ask them if they would mind," Lexi muttered. I nodded my head, hesitating a moment before I pulled out my phone. I pulled up Athena's number and hesitantly clicked the call button, waiting with bated breath.

"Hello," Athena greeted, her voice sounding slightly strained. She sounded both agitated and out of breath, making me hesitate.

"Hey Athena, are you busy?" I asked after a moment when I realized I hadn't answered.

"No darling, never too busy to speak with you," Athena said, sounding slightly happier. There was the sound of something heavy hitting the ground before the sound of a door opening echoed through the phone. I heard it click shut after a moment.

"My cousin suggested this and I know it sounds stupid but she wanted me to ask if it would be okay if I wore something to match you and Adonis to the business conference," I managed to get out, feeling nervousness spread throughout my body.

"That would be perfectly fine, it doesn't sound stupid at all," Athena said. Lexi who had been listening stuck her tongue at me when she heard Athena agreeing with her. "I'm wearing a dark red dress that's backless and Adonis is wearing a black suit with a red tie," she stated.

"So a red dress, maybe slightly lighter than yours is," I murmured as I rifled through the racks, pulling out one that I thought was cute. "Can I send you a picture of it and you can tell if you think it would match yours?" I asked hesitantly.

"Of course my dear, it might take me a moment to respond but I promise that I will get back to you as soon as I can," Athena responded. I beamed at her response, telling her goodbye before I hung up on her. I went to the changing room, carefully slipping on the dress.

It was slightly tight on me and it showed off my shoulders quite nicely. I admired how I looked for a moment before I took a photo in the mirror. I quickly sent it to Athena, sitting my phone off to the side as I went back to admiring myself.

My phone buzzed after a moment and I picked it up, looking down at Athena's text with a small smile.

'You look very pretty, Adonis agrees,' the text read. Another one popped up right after that one. 'Tis Adonis, you look beautiful,' it said.

'Thank you,' I responded with a small smile on my lips. I changed back into my regular clothes, hanging the dress back up on the hanger. I left the changing room, going back to Lexi.

"So what did they think?" Lexi asked as she admired a dress that she had found.

"They said I looked very pretty," I said with a smug smile.

"Look, Aria I am very happy for you but I am quite concerned that they're doing all this. They barely know you and they're inviting you to a big business conference where top business owners are going to be. Doesn't sound a little weird to you?" Lexi asked.

"I know but they don't seem to have any ill intentions. It's not like I'm going to move in with them, I'm just going to a conference with them. If I sense anything ulterior going on then I'll just stop talking to them," I shrugged my shoulders.

"Alright but this all seems a bit fast, I just worry," Lexi said.

"I know Lex, I know. I promise I'll look out for myself. Besides maybe I can find you someone at the business conference to talk to," I teased with a small smile.

"Yeah yeah," Lexi rolled her eyes. "Why don't you see if you can get Emma Garcia to go on a date with me with your bold promises?" she asked sarcastically. A small mischievous grin spread across my face which she seemed to miss.
