"Can you take the little box? It's very important. Guard it with your life!"
"This?"
"Yes, exactly."
"Oh, man; this really is a castle!"
"It sure is, isn't it?!"
I giggled delightfully as Mike reached for the box in the back seat that contained mom's old CDs. I took them one summer when I helped her clean out the attic and now consider them as mine.
To both my surprise and delight, Reed had kept his promise about letting me choose suite to move into. First thing last Monday he showed me to the second floor, showing me suite after suite I could pick from.
I almost blushed, thinking of how my choice didn't fall on the suite that had the biggest bed or the most beautiful view. No... My choice fell on the fact that my future suite was wall to wall with Reeds. He had shown me a couple before I shyly asked if there were any more suites in the part where I knew he slept. Reed had then led me to the suite along with his room.
And it was perfect for me! It was all French Baroque. It had a small hall where you were immediately greeted by a slightly rounded room with light and almost golden wallpaper. It had a high ceiling with a chandelier.
In the middle of the room was a group of sofas around a table, and to the right was a bed like Reed's but with light curtains and fabrics. A large wardrobe made me giggle delightfully, mentioning how it looked like Belle's old wardrobe.
The bathroom had a large bathtub and a shower. The mirror over the sink had a gold frame. It felt like the suite was twice as big as our apartment, bigger than Reed's room too.
"Oh my God!" Mike exclaimed when we entered the entry hall and he saw the huge staircase. "You don't change down to something cheaper."
"I know, right?!" I put down the box I was carrying, looking around with my hands on my hips. "Being able to call this my workplace is powerful, even if the salary is non-existent!"
"And now you can call it your home!" I beamed at him.
Last Saturday night when Reed dropped me off at home I had told everything about the chaotic dinner at mom and dads for Mike. He knows everything about my family, and he was actually pissed for how they behaved and treated me. However, he was as lyrical as them about Reed's offer, or... rather demand. And the fact how Reed stood up for me.Of course, I asked if it was okay for him, me moving out. He had just winked at me and said how I stepped up my fuck-buddy game. Now I would get some cock, his words. I had blushed and said that it was just pure cooperation. By living here, I would be closer to work and thus be able to spend more time on my slavery.
We had checked with Mrs. Smith if it was okay for Mike to officially be the sub-tenant of the apartment. Him taking over completely would only be possible when my contract expires in six months, if I still want it then. Otherwise, he could take over.
"Okay my suite is on the second floor to the right and then left. However, Reed said there is an old elevator beyond the dining room if we can't bear to carry everything." Mike just laughed, aiming for the stairs.
"Where do we have the master himself anyway?"
"Oh, he is,"
"Here," Reed came down the stairs, all the great Gatsby like always.
This day he didn't wear his typical black vest, though. He wore a grey with purple threads. I blushed, smiling happily. I got the feeling how he chose it just for me.
"Reed!"
"Hey, man! I like your castle. Where are the dungeons?!" Right on spot. "I wanna se the corpses!"
