Y/n POV:

I groaned as I got up for the next morning. Great, another day of boring two jobs. I slowly got up and rubbed my eyes. I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and immediately noticed, there were over 20 texts from Haida and missed calls. The hell- I just decided to call him to make sure he was alright while also being too lazy to read the millions of texts. He answered immediately.

"Haid- "DUDE, YOU WONT BELIEVE WHO CAME TO THE OFFICE YESTERDAY!" Ow, my ear. Wait..this sense of energy...it sounds familiar. "Who?" "THE CEO OF FREERIDE! HE CAME TO OUR COMPANY YESTERDAY!" Oh there it is. Trust me, I know from college. This hyena is a freaking fan girl of freeride, especially the CEO..Tadano I think his name was. Speak about him once, he won't shut up about it.

"Oh no. We're back to the fan girl Haida." I said while yawning. "Fangirl?! Im not a fan..NooOo..j-just I uh- like his company..yeah!" "Sure buddy, your gonna make me late for work. I'll talk to you later, love you bye!" And quickly hanged up. I groaned. Welp, here we go again with this enthusiasm. Not gonna lie, it was kinda cute.

Momo drove without me, so I was driving alone when going to the office. I got out of my car and made my way to the department. Once there, I greeted Fenneko and Retsuko as I sat down.

Fenneko turned to me with the blank expression. I pretended not to notice, but honestly, who the hell could not notice that menacing look. "What?" I said confused. "You know..Haida's been talking a lot about that CEO guy who came in." Yep knew it, but..what is she getting at? "I know, hes a fan of the company. What's up?" "Oh nothing." She said continuing her work. Weird-

It was now break time, finally, and guess who's the one that's fangirling. "Can you believe that the CEO of freeride came to our company yesterday?!" Haida said with sparkles in his eyes. "Ah yes, my levels of belief are off the charts." I responded sarcastically. "Who cares." Fenneko added while texting on her phone.

"There a star into AI tech. It was big news when it's CEO bough a whole foreign company!" "Still don't care." Ow Fenn harsh much. "You really like this dude huh?" Said Momo from behind him. He turned red and got irritated. "W-what exactly do you mean by that?! He's cool, that's it!" I can't help but frown at this, why the hell do I feel irritated that he's talking about it?

"It only sounds like he's a bigger deal to tech nerds." I smirked at this. "Oh yeah? Well looks like someone has forgotten..that smartphone your glued to every freaking moment..it was made like a nerd by this guy!" Fenneko then gasped dramatically which made all of us flinch.

"I'm over it." Haida got irritated again and made weird hyena noises. It's cute to see him like this. "It's not bad being a nerd you know, you call me a nerd when it comes to science." I said. "Two nerds, wow, you both really are the perfect pair." Said Fenneko. We both flushed bright red at this, seriously in front of Retsuko AND Momo? Momo snickered evilly while Retsuko gave a confused look. "Not now Fenneko!" Haida said.

"Well..Im all ears Haida. Go on." Said Retsuko, trying to avoid further disputes. Haida quickly switched from his pouting and acted cool again. "Thanks I will!" Bi-polar much? "That CEO guy is said to be the closest to making a general-purpose AI. Those haters out there say he's only there selling a pine tree. But I just know he's the real deal." He smirked.

"Man..I wish he could of gotton his autograph.." he said dreamily. Oh no, he's turning into Amy Rose the hedgehog. "Fan girl much?" I said. "Not a fangirl!" He pouted blushing slightly. Retsuko smiled nervously as she tried her best not to get Haida too upset. "If you like him that much, he must be amazing!" She smiled.

We or I mean, I ended the day as I had to leave early for the cafe. As I was packing my stuff, I felt a tug on my sleeve. Retsuko smiled at me. "I'll be meeting you at your cafe today! Gori said she wanted to meet me there.." w h y Gori. I don't trust her at all ever since the speed dating party. "Uh, alright then." I smiled nervously.
