Juno's pov:

Juno was walking a few steps in front of Eliot. He looked back almost immediately, ready to catch the brunette, at the sound of his beeping watch.

"Woah there, you okay?" He asked, trying not to interfere too mush and be too overbearing. Eliot didn't like that.

Now it was him asking: clearly none of them were.

He let Eliot lean on him, as he slowly got them down, to sit on the pavement. Juno tried talking to him, but he didn't seem to register anything. He was like in a trance; unable to do anything other than just be. His breathing was uneven and he hold a hand in front of his heart. As if making sure is was still working.

They sat there for some minutes. Juno held his back so he at least didn't fall. He was not quite sure what to do. Eliot kept fading in and out of consciousness. Never really fainting, but more like a sleepy person trying to stay awake.

When he had finally stayed asleep for a whole minute, leaning on Junos shoulder, he opens his eyes and looked around a little.

"Is it over now?" He questioned.

"What?" Eliot asked back. Still a little out of it.

"Are you feeling better now, Eliot?"

"Um... No. But I can see again, so that's something, I guess." He stayed, leaning on Junos shoulder, trying to adjust himself. Well, more like convincing himself to be okay again. Juno knew that it took some time for Eliot's heart rate to calm down again.

"How long was I out?" Eliot asked him.

Juno looked at his phone. He had started a timer after he had gotten him down, because Eliot had told him that he needed the minute could for his doctors . It was something with math, so not his strong suit. "You were in and out of 4 minutes and 30 sec -ish."

"I'm sorry. For you having to deal with this. " He wanted to protest, saying that it was no trouble at all, but he was cut short by Eliot. "But thank you. For actually doing it." Juno nodded in response.

After some time, they continued their walk home to Eliot's.

"I'm sorry." Eliot said, when they stood in front of his house again.

"Don't be. I should have seen it coming" His heart were in confusion. Juno strongly felt that he was the one to blame. He should have seen it coming. He had made sure that Eliot had gotten a salt tablet and a lot of water. But it still wasn't enough. He wasn't good enough at this. He wasn't good enough for Eliot.

"How could you? I didn't even see it coming."

How could he be so forgiving? He took all this way too lightly. Didn't he even care about himself? But this was Eliot, and he couldn't argue with him.

"I guess you'r right. But I still feel like I could at least have done something."

"You did." Eliot looked him deep in the eyes. Honesty, showing in his eyes. Without saying a word. Somehow Eliot made him feel more at ease. "I don't think you know just how much it means to me. For you to be with me, when I don't feel like I can be there myself."

"Your shouldn't have to go through this." Juno defended him, with what little might he had.

"We don't get to chose, Juno." Eliot squished his shoulder. His face was filled with pity, not for himself, but fro Juno.

"No. I guess not." Juno had to face it. And that was just how it was.

Juno went home shortly after. Eliot often send him little emoji's to tell how he was feeling, so Juno did the same.

He had send Eliot a message that evening: See you tomorrow?

Yes. I do expect you to pick me up.

He smiled. Juno felt all fussy in his tummy. He was to get Eliot before going to the party tomorrow. 'I wonder what Eliot is doing now' he thought to himself; he was glad.
