Jin, Namjoon, Jimin, and Yoongi sat along the pool's edge together, sipping their drinks and watching the two youngest of the group interacting with each other as if it were a spectator sport. They alternated between splashing and teasing each other to calmly treading and catching up on old times.

Jimin made an obnoxious sound as he sucked up the last remaining drops of his Mai Tai through his straw. "Are you guys seeing what I'm seeing?"

Taehyung began splashing Jeongguk unrelentingly until Jeongguk suddenly disappeared below the surface, only to ascend abruptly and scoop Taehyung up bridal style. "Ha! I've got you now! That'll teach you to throttle me with pool water." Taehyung just laughed and tipped his head back, enjoying the free transportation as Jeongguk carried him over to an in-pool chaise lounge intended for tanning.

"Stay here, you menace. I'm getting us new drinks," Jeongguk said playfully.

Taehyung eased back onto the chaise, enjoying the heat radiating from it. "I could get used to this service. Five stars."

Namjoon responded to Jimin. "Oh, I see it alright."

Jin followed. "I do too. Do you think that they know how much they're flirting with each other?"

Jimin laughed. "Knowing them two, probably not. Taehyung is so in his own head. Pretty sure he's dense as fuck when it comes to being flirted with!"

"Jeongguk obviously has swagger but now that I think about it, I haven't seen him flirt on many occasions. He can be a little space cadet too," Namjoon said with a giggle.

Yoongi chimed in. "Looks like they've just got good chemistry to me. How long has it been since they've seen each other?"

"Years," answered Jimin.

Yoongi hummed in surprise. "Doesn't seem that way. I don't remark on things being cute often but... they're like, pretty cute."

Jin squealed. "I fucking love this. Look how happy Tae looks! He's like a giddy little schoolboy. It's premature to get all excited, but I haven't seen him like this in months."

The rest of the group cooed at the youngest two who were completely oblivious to being watched. "I don't know about you all but I am one hundred percent here for this," Jimin exclaimed, while Jin clapped and nodded. "I've already been bugging Tae to get with him but he cares for him too much to make him feel like some rebound."

"If I know Jeongguk, he will hesitate to make a move too. He wouldn't want to take advantage of Tae in his vulnerable state," theorized Namjoon.

"Maybe they just need a little encouragement," speculated Jin.

Yoongi shrugged. "Sounds like they are both caring guys with clearly great chemistry. Might be a match made in heaven. I don't think you're brother feels that way though, Jimin."

Jimin grimaced. "Why do you say that, hyung?"

Yoongi nodded up at Bogum who was now pacing around on the patio. "He's been watching them for at least ten minutes and looks pretty pissed." The four looked up at Bogum who was watching Jeongguk deliver a fresh Mai Tai to Taehyung, who took it and scooted over on the chaise, making room for Jeongguk. At that, Bogum's face visibly reddened and he stormed off the patio, making his way for the pool.

"No! No no no no no no no. He has no right to be mad. I'll handle this." Jimin stood up, nearly losing his balance, and stomped towards the pool gate.

Yoongi stood up too. "I think he's a little tipsy. I'm going to go with in case he needs backup. You two just relax."

"Drama!" Jin wiggled his eyebrows at his fiancé. Namjoon just shook his head, smiling, and took a long pull of his drink.

Jimin beat his brother to the pool gate with a smirk of triumph. "This pool's closed hyung, I suggest you try the south pool."

Bogum scoffed, clearly annoyed already. "There is no south pool. Step aside Jimin. I need to talk to Taehyung."

"I think the fuck not. Now run along. You're not welcome here."

Bogum grit his teeth. His fuse wasn't long to begin with but he was about to go off. "You gonna guard him from me this entire trip? You're not his keeper, Jimin! How do you know he doesn't want to talk to me?"

"Can't you see he's busy, Bogum-hyung?" Jimin smirked at his brother who was sizing up Jeongguk over Jimin's shoulder.

Yoongi decided to chime in before things escalated to the point of disturbing the grooms-to-be, or other patrons for that matter. "Look, we're actually having a wedding party gathering right now. I'm sure we'll all see each other at the rehearsal dinner."

Bogum looked at him with disapproval. "This doesn't concern you, Thing Two."

"Charming. My name is actually Min Yoongi, you can't call me hyung, and like your brother said, you're not welcome here right now. Unless you want me to call hotel security, I would suggest you get the fuck out of here."

Jimin bit his lip and looked at Yoongi in lust. That was hot.

Bogum scoffed again. "You know what? Fine. Screw you guys. But this little defense you're running isn't cute. I will speak with him and it's none of your business anyway.

"Like hell it isn't. Now leave. You're killing my buzz," Jimin stated casually.

Bogum flipped them off with both hands and backed away before turning and heading towards the main building.

Jimin looked back at Yoongi. "Looks like I owe you a drink." He started sauntering towards the bar, expecting Yoongi to follow.

"This is an all-inclusive resort," Yoongi pointed out, walking behind him.

"Guess I'll have to think of something else to repay you with then."

Yoongi caught up to the younger so he could speak lowly in his ear. "Guess you will."

Jimin gulped. Holy shit.

After the two got a fresh tray of drinks for their group, they plopped back down with Jin and Namjoon who were basking in the afternoon sun, looking relaxed as ever. Jimin looked back at his best friend who appeared none the wiser to the near-breach of pool parameter by his ex. He actually looked more carefree than he had in quite a while, laying shoulder to shoulder with Jeongguk on the chaise lounge that was really made for one. They were trying each others drinks and chatting comfortably.

Jimin nodded at the pair. "I bet they fuck by Friday."
