Chapter Twenty Two

It was late in the afternoon when Taehyung reached his home after his trip to Busan. He had returned to the dorms with Jeongguk and hugged Jimin for exactly one hour until the scent of Jeongguk was much less evident. He had also made sure to spill all the details of his first time to the beta, who responded with screams and giggles and shouts of happiness for his best friend who finally lost his virginity.

As he expected, he was welcomed with his mother's scolding about how he hadn't even called them once and "why didn't you answer your phone? I had to call Jimin and that boy answered!". His father had been silent for the most part. However, Taehyung could see the disapproval from the way he watched the omega. He had been out of his house for almost three days, after all.

"Your sister came home yesterday and you weren't even here to greet her" Taehyung's mother scolded.

"Yeojoo is here?" Taehyung exclaimed, dropping his bag on the floor. "Where?"

"Right here!" a female voice came from behind Taehyung, making the omega whip around to look at his older sister smiling at him.

"Yeojoo!" Taehyung grinned and ran to hug her.

Yeojoo embraced him back. "You missed me that much- hold on" the female alpha paused her sentence, drawing away from Taehyung, leaving him confused.

"What?" Taehyung asked, looking at her face with confusion.

Yeojoo knitted her eyebrows together. "Nothing. Just felt weird"

"Weird? How?" Taehyung muttered with a pout.

Yeojoo shook her head with a forced smile. "I just haven't seen you in more than six months. How have you been?"

Taehyung shrugged, looking at their mother who watched them. He saw his father making his way to his study and Taehhyung looked back at Yeojoo.

"Same old"

"You must be tired. I heard you went on a college vacation with Jimin. Get some rest and let's talk later"

Taehyung nodded. "Okay"

The two of them parted ways and Taehyung walked to his room, closing the door behind him. He threw his travelling bag on his bed. He needed to clean his clothes himself because he didn't want his mother to catch up on Jeongguk's scent on his clothes when she puts his clothes in the laundry.

He was about to shed his clothes and rush into the shower when the door of his room clicked opened, revealing Yeojoo. Taehyung was confused as to this sudden entrance and his eyes widened when the alpha shut the door behind her, turning the lock.

"What-" Taehyung started but Yeojoon advanced towards him and pressed him against the nearest wall.

"Yeojoo!" Taehyung exclaimed.

Yeojoo didn't budge. Taehyung could feel her scent thick in the surrounding air; that cinnamon and peppermint. She pressed herself against Taehyung's body, her figure towering over him by a few inches and reached for the neckline of Taehyung's sweater. She pulled it aside, revealing his neck and shoulder. Yeojoo pressed dived in, her nose almost brushing against his scent gland and Taehyung whimpered, fisting his hands in her shirt. He couldn't help himself as he slightly bared his neck for her to take a deep inhale of his scent.

Taehyung grunted after seconds. "What the fuck are you doing?"

Yeojoo drew away with an expression of surprise. She stared at him.

"What?!" Taehyung exclaimed, fixing his sweatshirt, annoyed.

"What did you do to yourself?" She asked.

"Huh?"

"You... you have an alpha"

Taehyung blanched. "W-what? O-of course I do" He gulped, biting down the gasp he almost let out. "I'm supposed to get married to Seojoon"

Yeojoo laughed. "Not him"

"Mom and dad want me to get married to him so h-he's my-" Taehyung was cut off once again with Yeojoon pressing against him to take a deep inhale of his scent straight from its source.

"Stop being a creep!" Taehyung grunted.

Yeojoon smiled at him with amusement. "An alpha knotted you"

Taehyung's mouth dropped open. He felt his knees growing weak and he gulped. His heart raced in his ribcage and Yeojoo continued to watch him with amusement.

"And it was recently" She continued. "Was it last night? The scent is so fresh"

"What the fuck are you talking about? I'm unmated!"

"Yeah I know but you were knotted"

"No!"

"Oh yes," Yeojoo grinned. "I'm a young alpha. I'm in my prime age. My senses are heightened at this age. Mom and dad might not catch it but your scent had changed. There's this change of scent of an omega when they get knotted for the first time. When an omega loses their virginity. Your scent changed because that new scent is now added to your usual scent. It's so faint, Taehyung. But I can feel it. I'm sure your alpha can too"

"I d-don't know what you're talking about"

Yeojoo laughed. "Besides, you smell like some alpha. Hugging Jimin didn't work this time. It's because you took that alpha's knot and were with him for the whole weekend. I know he didn't mark you but your wolf had taken his scent mark"

"W-what? You mean people can smell him on me?!" Taehyung exclaimed.

"Someone like me, who has a keen sense of smell can. And besides, I know what your scent. We're siblings. So I can feel that change. It's most probably different from mom and dad because their alpha senses aren't as sharp as before"

"Right" Taehyung muttered with a sigh of relief.

"So who is he?" Yeojoo grinned. "And I can't fucking believe you actually lost your virginity before marriage!"

"S-shut up!" Taehyung whispered. "Be quiet!"

Yeojoo laughed. "My little bro is all grown up now"

"Fuck off. I just like him so much"

"You're dating him?"

"He started courting me recently"

"Wow, a true gentleman. Is he half-breed? True alpha?"
