the heat had gotten to you causing you to take off your top

you laid on your back, star position, staring up at the ceiling of the training field

"Reo, do I really have to do this" you heard a familiar voice whine

the sound of the automatic door opening was heard and you turned your head to come face to a mop of purple and white hair come in

they stopped at the entrance noticing that they were by themselves

looking around, they finally came across your blank face staring back at them

"hey (y/n)! Been a while since we last seen each other" the friendly voice of reo greeted

"Oh hi Reo, Nagi" you responded

you stood back up to face them properly and that's when they noticed that you weren't wearing much atop

Reo awkwardly turned to the side while scratching his cheek, a tint covering it

it was his first time seeing a girl shirtless despite her still being covered by something

Nagi on the other hand, stood there expressionless

you stretched your body and decided to get back to training " if you guys want to practice, I'll be done in a few so you can have the full field"

"actually" started Reo "you wanna practice with us?"

usually Reo could care less about the other participants in blue lock

they were all mere bugs for him and Nagi to squish while they made their way up to the higher class all the way into winning the World Cup

yet why was he so interested in a single female

in general, he wasn't planing on watching replays from other matches since he thought their team would just beat all others

but could someone explain to him, why was he rewatching the match between team Z and X late at night

"Reo" he hummed in responses "did you feel it?"

"what do you mean" Reo was confused at what Nagi meant

"remember when you first met me and said 'you are a natural at soccer'" he said "yeah"

"well I think she's the same as me" he said lazily "naturally born for soccer or whatever you said back then" he leaned back on his friend

that's what caused Reo's curiosity

while watching the replay, he was bored at first since the match was one-sided but then came the second half

you had finally decided to join the match and when you started playing, you absolutely dominated the entire field

2 goals in a spawn of less than 10 minutes

after your 2 goals you had subbed off
