CHAPTER 6

Sapnap POV
HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT-
He's holding my hand, like actually holding it in his. I continue to freak out and blush like crazy until we reach his locker.

He lets go and I feel a sudden wave of sadness rush over me. Not like I want to cry sadness, but more of disappointment.

Karl smiles at me before getting his stuff out of his locker, seeing his face makes butterflies rush through my stomach and I know then and there- I like Karl Jacobs. I like Karl Jacobs, a lot.

TIME SKIP- Lunch

Me and Karl get in the lunch line, walking close and beside each other. This time, I let Karl pay. Only because he begged me half of second period and the whole way through the lunch line though of course.

We get our food and walk over to our usual table to be greeted by Dream, George, and Quackity. We all fall into conversation and suddenly Dream speaks up, "Hey guys, want to come over tomorrow after school?" Everyone perks up and agrees. "I guess I'll go, but you and George better not get too close or I might have to barf on all of you and I will not hold back." Quackity says, chuckling a bit at the end of his sentence. Dream gasps dramatically and pulls George closer to him. "Don't keep my Georgie poo away from me!" Dream says as he kisses Georges cheek. "Ew get off of meeee" George says jokingly, trying to get away and failing miserably. "Never!" Dream laughs. Everyone bursts into a fit of laughter at the act to the point where all of our chests hurt.

We all finish eating and head to the rest of our classes. I can't wait for tomorrow after school, it's going to be so fun.

TIME SKIP- After school

After 7th period me and Karl meet up and the front doors. "Hey Sapnap, wanna come over to my house?" Karl says to me as we head out the door. "Yea sure, I have nothing better to do, also, can you help me with my math homework? I kind of spaced out during class and have no idea what to do." I answer as we walk towards our cars which were conveniently parked right next to each other. "Oh, I'm happy to help!"   Karl says, excited that I am coming over.

Suddenly, I feel our hands brush up against each others, similar to what happened this morning, he intertwines our fingers and butterflies shoot throughout my stomach.

Sadly, we make it to our cars and have to pull away, blushing furiously.

I pull into Karls drive way, waiting for him to het back as he has to pick up Rachel before coming home.

I wait for about 10 minutes, scrolling through my phone until I see Karl pull into his house next to me. I get out, reaching to get my backpack out of the passenger seat before greeting Rachel with a hug as she gets out of the car. I'm not usually a hugging person, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to give a couple hugs. I walk over to the drivers side of the car and greet Karl the same as Rachel. We head inside, Going our separate ways. Rachel going to her room and Karl and I going to his.

I sit down on Karls bed, getting my homework out of my backpack before sitting at his desk. He sits next to me, starting to explain how to do each problem. I can't help but get zoned out looking at him though. He's so... pretty. Gorgeous even. I don't know why I'm thinking like this. There is no way he likes me back. I don't think he does anyway. I mean, why would he like me? Sure I've helped him through hard times, but that's just what good friends do. Right?

I get snapped out of my thoughts by Karl shaking my shoulder "Hellooooooo? Earth to Sapnap. Are you paying any attention?" Karl asks. I blush dark red and shake my head, pointing to where I last remember him explaining. He continues explaining the math and this time I listen, it's hard but I manage to get a vague sense of how to do the problem. He asks me to so the next one by myself. I struggle, but I get through it. "Okay, here, I think I got it" I say hesitantly. He takes the paper and looks over it, looking back at me with a disappointed expression. "Sorry Sapnap, YOU GOT IT RIGHT" He suddenly says excitedly. "Good job dude!" He says and pats my back. "Thank you for helping me!" I say happily.

"Now that we are done, want to relax on my bed and watch a movie?" Karl asks me. "Sure, what will we watch?" I question. "I don't know, we can just look through some movies and then decide." He says before running up to his bed and flopping down into it. I walk over and lay next to him, watching him flip through random movies.

We ended up watching a horror movie, which was a good idea on my part, but not as good as an idea for Karl. Every time there was a jump scare, he would yelp and squeeze my arm as tight as he could. "Karl, if you don't want to watch the movie we can turn it off and find another" I say. I don't mean that though, I love this. Him up against me, basically cuddling me because he's so scared. He shakes his head. "No, I'm okay."

After the movie was over, Karl was practically shaking. I get impossibly closer as he hugs me as tight as he can. "Are you okay? I'm sorry, I didn't know you didn't like horror movies." I say with a worried tone of voice. "No, it's okay, I'll be okay." He rests his head on my chest and I start to play with his hair, butterflies flying in my stomach. "Can you stay the night?" Karl asks, looking up at me with puppy eyes. "Sure, I have no where to be anyway." I reply, smiling ear to ear. "Yayyyyyyyy" Karl says happily.

For the rest of the night, we sat there enjoying each other's company until we fell asleep. Both of us wishing the night could last forever.
