The click from the lighter echoed through the night as he lit his cigarette. Carefully, he placed the object between his teeth and inhaled, his eyes closing as his face unstrained. He removed the cigarette from his mouth, smoke escaping from his rounded lips as he looked upwards towards the moon.
"You'll understand some day." He smiled, his back facing me. I knew I wasn't allowed to speak without permission but I had so many unanswered questions. "I can hear your precious mind tick-tick-ticking away. I bet you want answers, dear. You might shortly. But for now, rest. We have a big day planned for you. You're going to kill someone very special for us." He stood still for a while, smoking, and then dropped the cigarette and crushed it into the ground with his hard black boots with god knows how many faded bloodstains embedded into the leather. He swiveled round and walked towards me and slowly reached out and put his hands on my shoulders. "Off to bed now, don't want you to be tired in the morning." He released me from his grip and I crept to my mattress on the floor in the corner, buried myself under the blanket and slept through the night.

My Abduction.
Mummy and I walk through the town hand in hand, in and out of shops, and buy the most expensive things we can find. She picks up a long flowing red dress. Grinning, she tells me to stay still whilst she tries it on. I sit down outside the fitting rooms, and stare at the walls. Suddenly a little boy my age bursts in through the shop, screaming for help. His eyes meet mine and I immediately walk to him asking him what's wrong and where his mummy was. He replies with a sob and walks outside, I follow obediantly and we stand in the rain, his tears blending with the raindrops. I frown sadly and again, ask him what's wrong. He stops crying and smiles at me as a hand covers my mouth from behind and a voice whispers in my ear next to me "We've been looking for you, Lily. I have a job for you.. You're going to be a murderer."
