After the Blackbeard issues you'd north just faced together, and Angelica pretending that she was pregnant with jacks child so he wouldn't leave her on the island, you both headed to another island where you could spend some time together, while the crew of the black pearl got drunk and merry from the ending of the day and the return of the glorious pearl. The armad of ships that was hidden away inside of jacks cabin was one that could become a vast and beautiful military against the navy.
Jack sat next to you on the side, gulping down a bottle of rum in his hand, the other wrapped around your shoulders.
"What a week it's been, Jack," you sighed, resting your head on his shoulders.
"Yes! That's why we're heading to some more peaceful sea space after this, love. You need a break,"
"Thank you Jack! You know I appreciate it, but I think it would be boring. Wouldn't it?"
"When am I ever boring?" he asked. "And, you're welcome."
"Thanks, jack," you paused and hugged him tighter just watching as the waves motioned across the vast expanse. "Tell me something, why did you leave angelica on the island? I thought you both had a thing for each other right now. Surely, you'd want to take her to somewhere nice?"
"Love, let me ask you something. If I had a thing for any woman, she'd be sat with me right now," he drummed his fingers in your shoulder. "And, that lucky woman so happens to be you."
"Huh?" you were confused, you and Jack were close, in a flirtatious way. It hands crossed your mind of a romantic relationship, you'd always presumed you were too laid back for him.
"If you don't like me, that's fine. I can handle it,"
"I do like you, just didn't you'd felt the same. We're flirting buddies, that's what I thought,"
"You thought wrong, love," he handed you a bottle of rum and you took a swig. "You can't tell me this isn't the life."
