I know. I'm a terrible person and you probably hate me for not updating for 6 months. But I was really busy with school and dealing with my own health which distracted me and I forgot about it. I apologise to you all xx

PS -  I'm sorry for my horrible spelling and punctuation! Aint nobody got time for proofreading ;)

I was filling up my water satchel in one of the freshwater ponds when I was engrossed in a hug from behind. Startled, I dropped the satchel in the pond and turned around to see the culprit. "How could you! You're going to leave again; we've only just reunited!" Arwen cried. Sighing I pulled her into a soft embrace, "I know, I was really looking forward to catching up with you too but I felt as though I was meant to do this. Those little hobbits need me and I can't leave Aragon, I need to make sure he is safe. Sobbing into my shoulder Arwen nodded and said "I understand and cannot stop you. Just please make sure you stay alive and keep Aragon safe for me". Pulling away gently I looked deeply into her swollen eyes and whispered "You have my word. I will see you soon". Stepping away Arwen smiled, "Alright, have a safe journey and good luck. Farewell my friend". "Farewell Arwen" I said as she was walking away. Turning back to the pond, I grabbed the satchel out of the water and made my way over to the courtyard.

TIME SKIP

We have been travelling for several days now, and I have gathered an insight into each of the companion's personalities. Aragon is Aragon, you don't mess with him and he won't mess with you. The hobbits are very naïve and joyful, they have this playful spark in them which amuses me. Sam is a bit of a worry wort though, as is Frodo but in a less obvious way. Gimli is a funny one, his ego is a major crack-up and his stubbornness is like nothing I've ever seen before. You know what they say about the stubbornness of dwarves though. Boromir really gets on my nerves, ever since we left he has been giving me glares and underestimating my capabilities. Legolas is a gentle ellon with a tendency to question a lot. I have got used to avoiding his questions but I feel a bit bad for shutting them down all the time. As for Gandalf, Aragon told me a couple of days ago that he knew who I was but he also told me I could trust him so I feel as though I will warm up to him quite easily.

I was drawn out of my thoughts by Boromir grunting as he fell to the ground with the hobbits on top of him. Boromir looks over at me, quickly get up off the ground and storms over to me, "What are you laughing at? I let them take me down". Still sitting down, I snorted, "yeah right, I saw the shock in your eyes. It's okay, everyone has their weaknesses" I smirked. Suddenly Boromir grabbed my arm and pulled me to my feet. "How dare you question my abilities! I could beat you in a fight blindfolded! The next time you - oomph" I pulled his leg and he fell onto his back. "Sorry, what were you saying?" I laughed before walking over to Legolas who was staring at the sky.

"Why are you looking to intently at the sky?" I questioned looking where he was looking. Before her could answer I gasped seeing what was in the sky. Sam piped up, "What is that?" I turned around to answer him but Gimli bet me to it stating it was nothing. I looked over to Boromir who was now standing up. He gave a confused look before mumbling "It's moving fast and against the wind". Panicked I shouted "That's because it's -" Legolas butted in shouting "Crebain from Dunland!" Aragon's eyes widened, "Hide!" Everyone ran and found a place to hide except for me. I then felt a hand grab me and pull me under a bush to shelter me from the spies. I guessed it was Legolas by the calm rhythm of his heartbeat and the small breaths he was drawing into my ear. Blushing a little, I got up as quick as I could once the bird flew past, "Thank you" I mumbled rushing towards Aragon.

"Spies of Saruman! The passage south is being watched" Gandalf retorted whilst getting to his feet. "We must take the pass of Caradhras" he continued, gesturing to the massive snowy mountain behind him. I looked at the mountain and looked at Aragon [Aragon, the hobbits are really going to struggle up there] He looked back to me and said "I know" before walking towards the pass. I took the lead next to Legolas; because we're elves, we're light on our feet and therefore able to walk onto of the snow. I looked down and my hands and noticed they were almost blue and swollen from the low temperature this high up the mountain. I glance over to Legolas and notice he is not looking so I rub my hands together and a flame grows inside my hands, warming them up. I then turn around to see how the hobbits are doing and it seems there is a hold up. "Legolas, daro" (Legolas, stop) Legolas stops dead in his tracks and swings his head back at what is going on behind him.
