49- 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐬

Taehyung had sworn on his life the moon wasn't present in the sky it was missing and the world was wishing to the forgery of it when the real moon adorned with silvery was right beside him, staring up at his counterfeit and maybe thinking to destroy the stars who accompanied the deceiver but he didn't know his most loyal star had left the sky long ago to be by his side 

and Jimin had sworn the center of Taehyung's onyx stare isn't the best place to be in, it made his heart go crazy making his bones bend and his blood run wild, he was surprised why the other male was still with him when he didn't even speak a word for god knows how long and when staring at the sky instead of meeting eyes with the other didn't help he turned his head around with a raised brow "what?" Taehyung asked with a low snicker

"why are you still here wasting your precious time? don't you have many people dying to be with?" Jimin says bluntly but his truth was a mocking sarcasm to the other whose face fell like autumn leaves feeling the first wave of cold hit him, "I mean, you are the popular guy, you have many friends to have fun with" and it made Jimin realized how much his conversation skills have worsened 

"I'm the popular guy so you assumed I have many friends, quite stereotypical"

and with that Jimin knew he fucked up the whole conversation but not like he cared about pissing the other off but only because he doesn't want to sadden him more when he already looked at the point of breaking and as a kindhearted person it's jimin's job to look after him and definitely not because he is Taehyung and he is still madly in love with him or it shatters his heart to even think about the other getting hurt, it was all out of pure humanity nothing else 

"no, I mean you had so many friends before you know"

"I had?" Taehyung asks, and Jimin was thankful for coming up with something so cleverish, he nodded his head in response receiving a dry uncomical chuckle from the ravenette which was darker than the darkness itself, "fuck them then for leaving me in this fucked up time" and his words put a heavy weight on Jimin's heart that buried him in the ground with guilt

"so you know me from before?" 

Jimin didn't respond to the other, he doesn't know how to so he sealed his lips, "so...how was I?" the brunette boy blinks rapidly searching for words in the abyss of his thoughts but he was never so astute to trick the devil "I didn't know yo-" his words were cut off from the middle by the devil catching him in his lies "don't lie by saying you don't know me, I've seen you in my visions and very closely" and did jimin's breath hitched when the other stepped closer like a threat no it was snatched  

every thought was knocked off his head when the other stood so tall over him, colliding their shadows to dance in each other's embrace on the ground, Jimin stepped back and then aside there was only one way to get himself out of this rabbit hole; run, his mind screamed at him but their minds already connected cause Taehyung heard it clearly and grabbed his arm "and don't even think of running" and with the sonorous voice so commanding Jimin was on his knees already which shakes and buckle from inside 

"Please tell me who was I, please tell me I wasn't the monster written on my chest" 

he pulled Jimin closer filling up the space between them going in the place of his head in desperation where he didn't get the idea he was revealing a big secret of him to someone he doesn't even know but there was something about the boy where he loses all control over every atom of him and he let the other take control of the helm of his storm-tossed ship, assured he will reach his destiny

"I wouldn't know for sure but maybe...maybe you were" 

the words were an epiphany of life-long ache and venom running through Taehyung's body, he was? he was a monster after all? Taehyung stepped back with a shuddering breath running outside his chapped lips, his eyes slightly widened as he let out another breath, he was terrified— no he was petrified and Jimin saw the colors drifting off from his face darkening his world as well as Taehyung's
