part twelve

my eyes fluttered open, i fell asleep in the police station. my mom and daveys parents were shaking me awake.

"the boys are okay." daveys dad smiled, "but they are in the hospital."

i jumped up, "what happened?"

"mackey took them in the middle of the night but don't worry, he's been arrested." he informed me, "woody got stabbed in the stomach but he's okay and davey broke his leg."

"oh my god." i muttered, running my fingers through my hair, "can we go see them?"

"yes, if that's okay with your mom." daveys mom said.

"yeah of course that's okay." my mom nodded.

after daveys parents left his hospital room, they let me go inside. i wasn't able to go into woodys room yet because he was still resting after surgery. i rushed in the room, to see davey laying there, pale and sickly.

"i'm so happy you're okay." i tackled him in a hug.

"me too." he chuckled, returning my hug.

"we spent all night looking for you guys." i smiled as soon as i let go of him and sat on the edge of the bed, "davey i was so worried."

"well we're okay now." he placed his hand on my shoulder. "i'm just glad he didn't take you. you don't deserve to have to go what we went through."

"you didn't deserve it either." i sighed, "i hope mackey fucking rots in prison."

just then, tommy and farraday rushed into the room. "oh thank god." farraday pushed me out of the way and hugged davey. i smiled at the two and tommy said, "i'm glad you're okay, davey."
