Kaden shifted back into his human form and walked over to a tree, where the scent was strongest. He tentatively traced the tip of his fingers over the dark liquid the was sticking to the green bark. He moved his fingers back to see them coated in red, bringing them to he nose.

" Wolf." He whispered as his blue eyes trailed to the ground, finding a trail of droplets on the leafy ground.

' She's hurt!' Alex cried in his head desperately. Kaden quickly followed the trail to another tree with a hand print. But what he saw on the tree behind it, stop his heart. Sitting under a tree with her back against it, was the most beautiful creature he ever laid eyes upon. Her head hung loosely to the ground and her arms draped by her sides. Kaden could barely hear her heart beating and her lung gingerly drawing in breath. He rushed over to her side and lifted her head to look at him, her skin was cold and pale with no life evident. He then noticed the blood that was seeping through her pink plaid shirt sleeve. Seeing the rip which showed a badly infected wound, still bleeding. He quickly stopped her into his strong arms and lifted her easily. Her head laying on his chest as he began to to walk back towards his pack house. Kaden's attention was caug by the faint moaning in his arms, his blue eyes trailed down to the pain stricken face that no found home on the angel's face.

" It's alright, baby girl. I've got you." Kaden muttered pulling her closer to his chest, bursting into a fast run. " You're safe now." He whispered and he dodged the trees and jumped over the fallen ones; careful not to harm her further. It did not take long for him to burst out of the forest and into the large garden behind his house, rushing up to the large red bricked manor. He kicked open the door with an large force, causing it to bang loudly; echoing through the building. So his subordinates where rushing to him with fear written over their faces.

" Get me my Theta! Now!" He yelled as he rushed towards the infirmary section of the pack house. He rushed through the long corridors as many wolves jump from his path, allowing him to make a straight run. Once in the infirmary, Kaden walked over to an empty bed and place the Angel gently upon the White sheets.

" Alpha!" His Theta's voice called from the door as a tall older man rushed in. He wore a black pair of formal trousers and a baby blue shirt with white lines running from top to bottom, so thin you could barely see them. A stethoscope was slung around his neck as he stopped at the opposite side of the bed.

" What happen?" He asked Kaden who shook his head.

" I found her in the forest, by the borders." Kaden informed him as his Theta nodded and wiped the stethoscope from his neck. Kaden put a hand on his shoulder, stopping him from putting the buds in his ears.

" Do what you can. She cannot die, not when I have just found her." Kaden pleaded with him as his eyes widened at his words. He simply nodded and put the buds into his ears and began to listen to her heart and breathing.

" Her heart is weak, so... Is her breathing." His Theta said as he then looked to the wound on her arm.

" Her wound has a severe infection. It will need stitching and she will also need a blood transfusion." He explained everything to his Alpha.

" She will be alright though?" Kaden asked worryingly.

" She will be fine with some antibiotics and rest." He told him with a smile and ordered an near by Lota, who quickly nodded and scurried off.

"Here help me with this," Theta instructed Kaden handing him a blood bag. "Hand it on the pole."

" How do you know her blood type?" Kaden asked as he watched his Theta push a thick needle into her hand and connected the drip.

" I have been the Theta before you became Alpha. I can tell a blood type by the smell." He told Kaden as he then hooked up a heart monitor to her left ring finger. The machine started to beep slowly with each beat of her weak heart.

" I don't think she will need breathing support." His theta said as the Lota reappeared with a silver trolly, on top of a blue towel was silver tools.

" I am going to clean her wound of the infection and then stitch it up." He began to soak a ball of wool in a clear liquid before he began to clean her wound. "But I am afraid it will leave a scar."

" I do not care. She will look as beautiful as ever." Kaden whispered and he ran a hand over the top of her head before moving down and kissing her forehead. "She is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen." He whispered gently staring at her. His theta smiled at his Alpha's love for her already.

"And she will stay that way." He whispered as he finished cleaning the wound.

" You might want to comfort her during this. She may still be out, but she will feel this." He told Kaden as he prepare the tools for stitching.

" Cannot you give her something?" Kaden asked pleadingly to him.

" I can't give her anything in the condition she is in. And I cannot wait for her to improve, it will only allow the infection to spread again." He spoke as he pushed the needle through her skin. The monitor picked up in its rate.

" That's good, it means she is responsive." He calmed his Alpha as he continued on the first stitch.

" She is a rogue you know." He spoke from the silences as Kaden's eyes looked to him.

" How do you know?" He asked his Theta with a worried expression.

" She has no mark." He spoke as he finished the third stitch. "This could present a problem."

" I know, Ross. I always said if my mate was rogue, I would reject her immediately." Kaden began as he looked down to her. Alpha's should never mate with rogues, as this would put the rogues in the highest rank of a pack. It happened before, long ago. An alpha mated with a rogue, who turned against their pack. The ending of the tale was the annihilation of the third largest and strongest pack. Because of that a law was passed that no one of high ranking was allowed to be mated to a rogue.

" But when I saw her, so vulnerable... I-I-I just, I just could not think of anything other than getting her well again." Kaden said as he ran a hand continuously over her forehead.

" Then let's keep this between us for now." Ross, his theta smiled to him as he finished the last stitch. "Until, we find out if she is one of the good rogues..." He spoke as he wiped the stitches. "Or one of the bad."

" Thank you." Kaden spoke as he kissed the woman's forehead and then down to her small button nose.
