Falling. Never knowing when your body will collide with the earth below. Reaching for the Heaven's but they just out of your grasp, pleading to God to save you, your wings breaking piece by piece from your back. Feathers floating above you as you plummet towards Mother Earth, silently begging for her to catch you. Will this hell never end? Were you cursed to fall for all eternity? Casted from heaven for your ungodly sins, never to show your face to immortal beings again. Just as you thought this nightmare would never end...your body made contact with Mother Earth's hard surface; she was not kind to traitors. With a loud THUD, your wings made contact before your body could embrace the impact. Your body aching head to toe, unable to move, your lungs fail you as you gasp for air, Unable to breathe in Mother's soft scent. Were you dead? Alive? Or somewhere in-between? As you regain your strength, your muscles ache from the slightest of movement but you force yourself to sit up at least. Your once gorgeous pearly eggshell wings stretched widely behind you before breaking completely from your back. You let out a scream of agony as your wings are ripped from your body, hot thick ruby red liquid trickles down your back. Grasping your chest you buckle forward, unable to stop your once holy wings, now red with your blood and breaking piece by piece. The bloody white feathers now lay in front of you, reaching a shaky hand towards the pile of now-forgotten feathers, you run your hand over the feathers. Tears streaming down your cheeks, tracing down your neck before they reach your chest where they lay for their final rest. Your heart beats faster, for you have never felt anything like this before...what was this sound? Bumbum bumbum. It sounded repetitive. It annoyed your ears, your face grew scrunched as you looked up at the world around you. Rage. Hatred. Agony. Betrayal.
You felt hot as if you were burning from the inside out. Standing to your feet, your face drenched in tears, hot and fueled with rage, you step over what's left of your once gorgeous symbol of freedom. They will pay, they all will pay. He took them from you. Finally feeling emotion, but it was nothing but rage. Burning. Rage. Taking your first steps into a new beginning, you do not look back. Now wasn't the time, you were going to watch the heavens burn...even if it was the last thing you do.
Oh, what a terrible fate you have faced... what a pity; They were such beautiful wings...
