Episode 12: Lover Boys

Cody's POV (We love to see it)

I feel so tense, like I can't breathe until he answers my question. I don't mean to pressure him, this is about me too! No one around, no one will hear us. Why won't he just tell me what he wants?

"The kiss?" He asked avoiding contact.

"Yeah.. the kiss." I replied, looking directly at him.

He looked at me then looked away again, like he was thinking about what to say or do. He looked panicked.. Was he gonna run away from this? Um, did I just ruin our friendship? I don't want to lose Junior! In the middle of my panic, Junior noticed and hugged me.

"Calm down. Just give me a second..." He said quietly.

I felt instantly relieved and hugged him back. Maybe it will all be okay..

"I don't know what to say Cody.." He said, letting go.

"I know.. I just want to know what you're thinking." I replied.

He caressed my cheek with his hand and before I could fully process what was happening, he kissed me. He backed away and waited for me to respond. I couldn't think of anything, it was like my brain just stopped working. I snapped to attention when he started giggling.

"Did I fry your brain?" He asked, smiling.

"Maybe a little," I said with a smile.

We walked back to his house and saw his dad and a girl leaving.

"See, this is why we couldn't go inside earlier," Junior said.

"But now we can?" I asked.

"Yeah, but let's go through the back. Follow me," Junior said, grabbing my hand.

We walked around the side of his house and went in through the back door. He let go of my hand and walked upstairs. I followed, my hand was still tingling from when he grabbed it. We went to his room and put on a movie. We were both under the covers, he was laying back against the wall and I had my knees pressed against my chest with my right hand grabbing my left wrist. I sat kind've near him, but since his bed was absolutely ginormous. I felt silly sitting right next to him.

"You can sit closer to me Cody, I don't bite." He said with a laugh.

"Shush, I'm watching the movie.." I said as my face grew red.

Junior moved closer to me, like really close. I could feel his arm against mine. I got really red and I think Junior noticed. He sat up and looked at me.

"What?" I asked, flustered.

"Hm? Oh nothing, just debating whether to kiss you or not." He said with a sly smile.

"Junior!" I yelled as I hid my face.

"Oh come on Cody, I'm just teasing you." He said laughing.

I looked back up at him and he grabbed me and pulled me in. He kissed me.

'Hey! You said you were just teasing me!" I said even more flustered.

"I lied." He said, kissing me again.

I felt like I was suffocating, but like in a good way. My heart was beating so fast I thought it was going to explode. Junior backed away and got up. He went over and turned off the light and locked the door.

"Why lock the door?" I asked.

"If I'm going to keep kissing you, I don't want anyone to walk in." He replied.

I could see his evil smile from across the room. My heart skipped a couple beats as he neared me. I felt like I was dying. He was so confident and didn't seem nervous at all, and I'm a mess trying to get it together. He got back on the bed and made his way back to where I was sitting. I felt like my heart was about to just right out of my chest, but I tried not to make a fool out of myself.

"Lay down." He said.

I did.. He put his arm out and laid my head on him. We cuddled. It felt really nice, but I also felt like things were moving really fast. I didn't really mind, mainly because I really liked Junior. I was slowly drifting to sleep when Junior kissed my forehead. I jolted awake and Junior hugged me tightly. I felt comfortable, like I was at ease. We kept cuddling and eventually I passed out. When I awoke, Junior was sleeping. He was still holding me, I kissed his cheek and he woke up.

"S-sorry." I said nervously.

"When did you wake up?" He asked yawning.

"Just now.." I replied.

He just hugged me tightly again and drifted back to sleep. The movie was over so I went back to sleep. We woke up to my phone ringing. I got up and answered it.

"Where are you Cody?" My mom said immediately.

"I'm at a friend's house, why?" I said yawning.

"Oh, were you sleeping?" She asked.

"Yeah, I just took a nap." I replied.

"Okay, well, you're past your curfew. We got worried. Do you want to spend the night there?" She asked.

I looked over at Junior who had moved next to me. He nodded his head yes.

"Sure mom, I'll be home sometime tomorrow?" I said.

"Okay sweetie, call me next time, okay?" She asked.

"Okay. Love you, bye." I said hanging up.

I looked at the time and it was 9:30. Me and Junior had been sleeping for a couple hours.

"Are you hungry?" Junior asked.

"Yeah, starving." I said putting my phone down.

"Okay, let's go out to eat." He said getting up.

I followed him, he turned on the nights and we both took a moment to adjust to the brightness. He was about to unlock the door but turned around and kissed me hard. My face grew red.

"What was that for?" I asked.

"I might not be able to do that for a while." He said smiling.

He unlocked the door and opened the door. We made our way downstairs and Junior drove us to a fast food place.
