It is currently 11.00 a.m., and preparations for birthday party is completed. Just a small birthday party with family and friends all of them are busy doing their work such as choosing clothes for tonight, checking the guest list, making sure they have tight security and so on. Did I forget something 🤔... ah, yes the birthday boy my bad sorry... so it's Gabriele Ferrari's birthday. At first, he was shocked when he saw the preparations for his birthday because he thought they forgot. Now let's see what he is doing... he is in his room standing near the end of balcony looking at something on his phone.
GABRIELE'S P.O.V
It's my birthday today but I am not happy not at all. Not that I am not grateful for the party my family is throwing. I am grateful for it but it's just that my family doesn't feel completed without both of them. Looking at the pictures in my phone gallery there are only few pictures of them which I got from dad's phone. Both of them look elegant. This specific picture brings happy memories. I was 4 year old that time even though I was a child I remember it vividly.
-Past events-
All five of us were playing hide and seek in our mansion garden. It was Sandra's turn to seek whereas 4 of us to hide. As soon as she closed her eyes and started counting from 1-100 we all run in our separate ways to hide. Both mom and dad were watching us playing from a bench a little far from there. Sandra finished counting 100 and asked, "are you ready ?". But none of us replied to her we all kept silent and didn't even move from where we are. As Sandra didn't get any reply she opened her eyes with a frustrated look and started looking around only to notice mom and dad laughing at our gameplay. She started to look for us. She found Enzo first and it goes on like that until it was only her twin left. She couldn't find her twin even we couldn't find her. Minutes passed by until Sandra got tired. Finally, she gave up as she said "I give up" the moment she finished it someone jumped down from the tree scaring the sh*t out of us. It was her twin Elettra. Because of a sudden movement out of nowhere, Sandra fall down since she was standing close to the tree. Mom sprinted to us when she saw Sandra. She came and picked up Sandra while she complained about our gameplay with scowl on her face "Mom they cheated, scold them". To which mom replied "Yes sweetie let me teach them a lesson," she said and started telling us that we shouldn't cheat but in the end, she winked at us which caused us to laugh. And that's when dad clicked the picture of us. A happy moment which I value the most but sometimes happy memories hurt the most.
Tears stream down my face as I keep looking at the picture. I wish they were here with me today. Mom was an angel she has never failed to be a lovely and a supportive mother.
I was close with all my siblings but I was the closest with Elettra she always protects me... all of us she loves and cares for all of us. She was the solution to everyone's problem.
I take one last look at pictures before switching off my phone placing it on my bed and walks to my restroom to take shower before the party start.

Their relatives couldn't make it to the party as something urgent came up. Enzo was at the front gate with guards handling guest's arrival almost everyone arrived only a few left. As it's almost party time he handover the work to the guards and went inside to see guests spending their time talking with each other while Alessandro and Sandra are with their friends.
He went toward his friends who were standing in one corner. Soon Vincenzo comes down along with his girlfriend. Minutes later joined by the birthday boy Gabriele looking handsome in his suit. As soon as he entered Alessandro grab everyone's attention by clinking his wine glass with a spoon.
Alessandro: FIRST OF ALL THANKS TO ALL OF YOU TO COME AND JOIN US ON THIS SPECIAL DAY. NEXT, LET'S START THE PARTY.
He said loudly making everyone cheer.
Almost after 1 hour of enjoyment and dancing it was finally time to cut the cake. A housekeeper brought in 3 layers of chocolate cake using a cake trolley and placed it in front of Gabriele. Everyone starts singing "Happy Birthday". Gabriele smile and waits for it to be over.
As the song comes to the end Gabriele brings up the small, sharp serrated knife to cut the cake but abruptly stopped when he heard a female voice singing "Happy Birthday" once again. This caused everyone to turn and look at the direction it's coming from... there was a gorgeous lady standing there in a long black dress and singing. Her voice sweet as honey but no emotion visible on her face.
She walked towards them as she reached in front of Gabriele she stopped singing and handed a gift box which she was holding all along while saying "Happy Birthday Gabe". Ferrari's were shocked to see a intruder entering their house effortlessly but they somehow felt a similarity with the said person.
Alessandro: Who are you ? ...GUARDS
he asked and called out for his guards.
???: Hello Father, it's been a long time since we last met.
This cause Ferrari's to frozen in horror.
A guard came in running and bowed to Alessandro.
Guard: Sir what did you called me for ?
He asked politely to Alessandro.
Alessandro come out of daze as he heard the guard then he turned to the guests and apologized saying the party comes to the end. Soon all the guests leave from there . Alessandro signal the guard to leave as well which he obeyed immediately. Now it is only the Ferrari's and the unknown person standing there and staring at each other.
Gabriele: Elettra.
He mumble in wobbly voice but it was heard by everyone present there.
Elettra nodded as a reply and Gabriele immediately embraced her tightly with full of affection and she returns the hug to him.
Vincenzo: How ?
He said voice breaking as tears runs down his cheeks.
Elettra sighed as she released the hug and turn to Vincenzo who was crying she walked towards him and takes his hands in hers.
ELETTRA: Vin, stop crying I am here right infront you all healthy I'll explain everything soon.
She said as she wipes his tears and he immediately pulled her into hug as others joined them except Sandra who is rooted in the same place not moving an inch but a bunch of emotions visible on her face which Elettra noticed. Afterwards, they all settled their self on couch at the living room.
ELETTRA'S P.O.V
As we settled ourselves on couch it was silent for moment until Father break it.
Father: Where have you been all this time ?
He asked coming straight to the point.
Me: UK
I answered directly.
Vincenzo: But how ?
He inquired as sadness clearly seen on his face.
Me: I escaped.
I replied in flat tone.
Enzo: We got news saying your were d...
Me: It was fake.
I answered before he complete his sentence.
Gabriele: Why didn't you come sooner ?
He desperately asked eyes watery looking at me for a explanation.
Me: * sigh* I was scared and not sure if you all want me here or not... I am sorry.
I responded feeling guilty.
Sandra: Then why did you come now nobody wants you here just go back.
She yelled out of anger .
Alessandro: Sandra.
He said in warning tone.
Elettra: Maybe someone missed me.
I said with smirk on my lips while looking at Sandra which shocked her.
I walked towards Sandra as I pulled her into hug and whisper "Now let's not play dumb okay ?" And she nodded as a reply.
Me: I know you all have a lot of questions to ask but just wait for it I'll surely tell you one day.
I stated to which all agreed.
Me: Now it's getting late I should go .
I added as I took my purse from the couch and about to walk out when someone hold my hand.
Gabriele: Don't go Elettra please... Don't leave us all again.
He begged and whisper the last part which I heard clearly.
Me: Gabe, We can meet every weekends okay and I am not going to leave you all this time.
I said and whisper the last part so only he can heard it and that brings a small smile on his face.
Father: Elettra you are not going anywhere and you are going to stay here with us understand?
He ordered sternly.
Me: Father if you are sure about this then I will stay here with you all but I still need time to move in.
I said calmly.
Father: Fine, but only 1 week time.
He stated as I give ok👌sign and left from here.
While driving back home I can see a person following me for a while in a safe distance. I changed my direction to the other side instead of going home. As I take the highway I can still see the person following me from the side mirror. I smirk knowing it's time to have some fun. I opened the storage compartment and saw my beautiful gun.
I stopped and off the engine of my car in the middle of the road since it is midnight the road is unoccupied.
The person did same thing with his bike at the same time. I opened the car door slightly and took my gun with me and stepped out of my car. He was shocked when he saw me standing here looking at him. The only light here is from two streetlights before he could do something I shoot the two streetlights using my gun.
Darkness surrounded us well good thing I had suppressor on my gun. I didn't give him any chance to react as I walk steadily towards him and silently went behind him. Since it was dark he couldn't see a thing which give me advantage as I can see him clearly all thanks to my trainings and good eyesight.
I started chocking him from behind while he was struggling to breathe I whispered near his ear "good night". Once he fainted I stopped chocking him because I don't want him to die. I dragged him towards my car and tie his hands and legs together by using a rope which I always have inside the trunk.
Finished tying I lift him up and throw him inside the trunk. I closed the trunk as I walk and sit inside the car and take out my phone to dail Martin.

Martin: Hello Elettra how did it goes at the party ?
Me: I will tell you later but now listen carefully I want you to prepare the torture room and inform to one of the guard that I will be there in 10 minutes.
I said in serious tone.
Martin: Sure Elettra.
Me: Bye.
He cuts the call.
