Talking about VHD's lore, I'm curious about the Akashic Records. I mean, is it possible “enter” there like a real place? Because it's made of ether and some people can read the future through it but is there a way to enter with body and soul?

(yeah, I have plans for it in my fanfic but I'm not sure how to proceed)

⚠️•Note: this question will have a second part!  I am going with quotes from another person. Then going truly to re-read but there are small chapters but four parts. It seems better splitting this complex topic. My shoulder injury will make this slower to put in documented form.

⚜️•Big Ask! See what I can do! Some of Hideyuki Kikuchi's explanations go over my head in understanding. Also his books are translated from Japanese. I am also using some sources from the internet as mentioned in the books. I have decided to answer in more than 2,000 words.  Sites listed at the bottom.

🧩Please understand this is how I understand and interpret the ether but isn't the only right answer.

⚙️ Some Astrophysics definitions:

• Dark matter is called "dark" because it does not appear to interact with the electromagnetic field, which means it does not absorb, reflect, or emit electromagnetic radiation and is, therefore, difficult to detect.

•Dark energy is the name given to the mysterious force that's causing the rate of expansion of our universe to accelerate over time, rather than to slow down. That's contrary to what one might expect from a universe that began in a Big Bang. 

•All the atoms and light in the universe together make up less than five percent of the total contents of the cosmos. The rest is composed of dark matter and dark energy, which are invisible but dominate the structure and evolution of the universe.

• Dark matter makes up most of the mass of galaxies and galaxy clusters, and is responsible for the way galaxies are organized on grand scales. 

•Dark energy, meanwhile, is the name we give the mysterious influence driving the accelerated expansion of the universe. What these substances are and how they work are some of the major challenges facing modern astronomers.

📍The fog wasn't really fog. It was the substance that filled the universe—the ether. It was said to be imprinted with records of the entire universe, spanning the past, present, and future. Even the science of the Nobility hadn't been able to decipher those records, and history contained the names of only a few individuals who could read what was written there. They included Nostradamus, Abramelin, Paracelsus, and Swedenborg. The Sacred Ancestor was also on that list. One theory held that it was after reading the record one night that the Sacred Ancestor began his mysterious experiments. The "akashic record" was the general term given to the great ether that recorded all of creation.~narrator

CHAPTER 5, VOLUME 17 (VAMPIRE HUNTER D: TYRANT'S STARS PART 3 & 4)

⚜️so just going by this section of reading, something that could possibly be is dark matter.  The space in the universe that fills in the spots but Scientists can't figure because can't currently be detected. Math proves this so we know the mass of the universe. (Their calculus is way the hell better than mine.)  

Though the definition of Dark energy is a possible definition of how the Ether exists.

•Ether could be the first name of dark matter/dark energy that we would be able to comprehend. And that's about as much I can add. Hence return to the four book story.

⚜️Now let's actually get a definition of Ether from spiritual-mystical side.
