In a strange dark void, young human being, arms wrapped around his legs floating slowly in the space. Time did not exist nor did it alter space, it was more than that. As the war of cybertron begun he felt the planet's pain and the creations screaming in agony.

The boy then opened his eyes, it glowed a baby blue in the dark abyss. Time and space transforming into the world of Cybertron, it was in ruins— no it was worse from ruined. The world he grew up knowing was destroyed, he was confused on what happened but it seemed a energy signal showed right where a giant ship stood.

He took his first step. His legs stumbled, his lips quivering, he couldn't speak. He didn't even know how long it's been when he was stuck in the void. He struggled to take his steps, he continued to move his body forwardly.

.....

"WWWWAAAAHHH!!!"

The boy woke up out of his bed in pure fear, cold sweat dripping his looking at his alarm. He sighed gently, shutting the alarm off.

"Yin! Time to get ready for school!"

He heard his foster mother calling to him, he saw what time it was and he scurried out of bed. "I'm going to be late!"

A few minutes of getting ready, he brushed his hair putting on his bracelets on his wrist. He ran downstairs and was closed line by his own mothers, of course it was painful. He almost saw the reaper ready for him.

"..Ow..."

"Hmph! You let your guard down again!"

The mother who adopted him was a body builder, she was the first woman on earth who became a space traveler. Lucy Axel was her name.

"Mom I'm going to be late!" He said breathing in and out as he looked at his other mother, Maria Axel was the bookworm of the family and he inherited her intellectual mindset while gaining physical capabilities from Lucy.

"Now Lucy, today's the first day where he can finally go to school again." Maria said patting the poor boy's head.

Yin chuckled nervously, "I'm not a child mom, I can take care of myself. Besides I'll have Sari with me." He said nervously.

"You mean the geek who's corrupting my poor baby boy with his feminine charms?!" Lucy stated with a pout.

Yin chuckled before looking at the time, "Oh shoot, I'm going to be late!" He said bursting out through the front door. He hopped onto his bike and took off.

"I can't with that boy!" Lucy said chuckling.

....

At school at history class, Yin was sitting in the back with Mikaela on her left. He was extremely nervous for sitting next to the hottest girl in school, but fate was cruel to her for dating someone like Trent. A jock — no a jackass with a low education.

"Okay, Mr. Witwicky, you're up." The teacher called out Sam for it was his turned to present. He made his way to the front of the class. He the empty the bag he had of his great-great-grandfather.

"Sorry, I got a lot of stuff." He said nervously. Yin looked over, at the corner of his eyes he saw Trent leaned over and whispered. "Watch."

"Okay." As Sam finished up unloading his bag he spoke for his presentation. "For my family..." Trent launched a rubber band at him, the whole class laughed except for him and Yin. Sam and Yin were like brothers from different families, he would always help him and he would do the same.

"Who did... Who did that? People! Responsibility." The teacher stood up and looked to see who it was. Sam scratched his right forearm waiting to start.

"Okay." He said now beginning the presentation. The class giggling before quieting down. "So, for my family genealogy report, I decided to do it on my great-great-grandfather, takes a deep breath who was a famous man, Captain Archibald Witwicky. Very famous explorer. In fact, he was one of the first to explore the Arctic Circle, which is a big deal." He picked up a map to show the class the Arctic Circle which was circled by a red marker. "In 1897, he took 41 brave sailors straight into the Arctic Shelf. So that's the story, right?" He folds the paper and puts it down.  "And here we have some of the basic instruments and tools used by 19th-century seamen." The class laughed when they heard the word "Seamen" the teacher was annoyed putting up a sign that said quiet.

"This here is the quadrant, which you can get for 80 bucks. It's all for sale, by the way. Like the sextant here. $50 for this, which is a bargain. These are pretty cool. These are my grandfather's glasses." He showed them to the class, Yin's eyes started to twitch like a reaction towards something dangerous. "I haven't quite gotten them apprised yet, but they've seen many cool things."

The teacher then spoke. "Are you going to sell me his liver? Mr. Witwicky, this isn't show and sell. It's the 11th grade. I don't think your grandfather would be particularly proud of what you've doing."

"I know. I'm sorry. I just, you know, this is all going towards my car funds. You can tell your folks. It's on eBay. I take PayPal. Cold hard cash works, too. And the compass makes a great gift for Columbus Day." Yin then realized why he needed money.

"Sam!"

"Sorry. Um. Unfortunately, my great-great-grandfather, the genius that he was, wound up going blind and crazy in a psycho ward, drawing those strange symbols and babbling on about some giant ice man that he thought he'd discovered." Soon the bell rings and everyone packs up their stuff and leaves out the class room. Yin stood up and decided to go help Sam to put his stuff away.

"Okay. Might be a pop quiz tomorrow. Might not. - Sleep in fear tonight."

Sam still trying to sell his grandfather's items. "Here, you want? Here, 50. 40? 30?"

The teacher called out Sam's name. "Sam?"

"Yeah. Sorry, sorry." He walks over to the desk with Yin. "Okay. Pretty good, right?"

"Sam, I have to be honest and say you're not going to get that A." Yin whispered as the teacher sat down.

"I'd say a solid B-." Those words made Sam drop his arms. "A B-?"

"Told you." Yin said bluntly.

"You were hawking your great-grandfather's crap in my classroom."

No, kids enjoyed it— Look, can you do me a favor?"

"What?" The teacher asked annoyed.

"Can you look out the window for a second? You see my father? He's the guy in the green car."

"Yeah."

Sam then continued. "Okay, I wanna tell you about a dream. A boy's dream. And a man's promise to that boy. He looked me in the eye. He said, "Son, I'm gonna buy you a car. But I want you to bring me $2000 and three As."  Okay, I got the $2000 and I got two As. Okay? Here's the dream. Your B-. Dream gone. Kaput. Sir, just ask yourself, what would Jesus do?"

....

Yin and Sam ran to the car screaming "Yes! Yes, yes." The both hopped into the car."

"So?"

"A-. It's an A, though." Sam showed his paper to his father. "Wait, wait, wait. I can't see. It's an A."

"So I'm good?"

"You're good." He said starting up his car. "Also Yin, your mothers called saying they'll be out of town for a few weeks, so you're staying with us for now."

"Thank you, Mr. Witwicky." He said as Ron turned around and looked at him with a certain expression. "My apologies.. dad." It still felt awkward to call Ron, Dad.
