It would take almost a full year before students stopped walking on eggshells around China Arford. But she was as harmless as a fly now. It would not, however, go the same for Renee and Hannah. You see, just shortly after I spoke with China, they decided to risk their friendship with China just for a chance to run the school as a duo. No longer would they be under China's impressive shadow. Instead, they would live happily, dominating Arford's Boarding School. As soon as they had stepped out of line, though, they were stopped. Apparently, one teacher, and I won't say which, had never quite gotten over some nasty comments made about her one day over the loudspeaker. This teacher easily enforced the zero-tolerance for bullying without a second thought in her head after finding a very annoyed Kilian Gray locked in the computer lab for the last time. The rules were clear and simple: expulsion. The Three Blind Mice disbanded shortly after their expulsion, at least in the intended sense. We were still friends long into adulthood. But our anti-bullying group was for the most part ended. At least, the original was. Margaux and Meri ended up opening a youth center known as Blind Mice. It's for children thirteen years and up who were dealing with bullying. It's now an extremely successful chain and helps millions of kids all over the world. Margaux never quite got over her annoyance towards Asian - American month, though. And Meri never quite understood her annoyance. Colleen ended up being a freelance artist. She doesn't make much, but she's happy. She and Noah ended up getting married during college. And Kilian and I are currently writing a book for Margaux and Meri's youth center. Hopefully it comes out well. After all, what youth center doesn't want a book named after it.
