(Trigger warning: successful abduction, mentions of blood, drugging, and violence.... not for the faint of heart, you have been warned)
The following morning Hibiki's disturbed feeling never left.
Still, he didn't want to make anyone worry, so he tried to behave as he normally would.
"Attention campers! Since this year's batch turned out so well, We decided to have an event to promote the camp. Everyone is allowed to pitch in however they like" scoutmaster yoshi announced
Hibiki opted to go door to door with yoichi and yoshinori to sell cookies as well as promote the camp.
Asahi, however, didn't like the idea.
"I can't let you just walk out into public where someone can take you again" he lectured.
"Asahi, you know i hate being confined to one place. Besides, I'm not going alone, I'll be with yoichi and scoutmaster yoshi"
Asahi sighed. "Fine, I'm just worried, we lost so much the last time that man had you... and I wasn't there. I just don't want to lose you too"
Hibiki hit Asahi on his chest
"Ow! What the hell was that for?!" Asahi shouted.
"Nope, you're not the man of steel" hibiki said with a neutral expression, he then softened his gaze, "so stop trying to do everything by yourself Nii-san"
Asahi smirked, "okay, I get it, but was it necessary to hit me?"
"With you? Yes."hibiki stated, "otherwise you'd stay sulking about it until you get depression"
Asahi pulled his brother in for a hug. "Promise me that no matter what happens, you will come back to camp safe and sound"
Asahi knew that his brother never broke a promise. Hibiki would sooner jump into a pool of hungry sharks than go against his word.
Hibiki thought about the unsettled feeling he had, "I promise I'll return"
Asahi turned his attention to yoichi and yoshinori, "keep an eye on my brother" he ordered.
The two of them only nodded in quiet agreement.
Half an hour later
Hibiki stayed close to yoichi and yoshinori as promised, however the sales for the cookies were becoming less and less.
"How on earth are we going to sell all these in one day?" Yoshi said with a tired sigh.
Hibiki cheerfully smiled, "scoutmaster yoshi, you're doing a good job, but sales is basically a competition. If you can't convince someone that what you have is better than the others, then what's the point in buying it."
"I-... how do you know this?" Yoshi questioned.
"I used to perform street dances to raise money for my mom's shelter... even had some of the energetic animals participate in it"
Yoichi nodded, "he's right, I used to live on the streets so Yuki and I used to have a whole bit for snatching money or food"
"It's called a hustle sweetheart~" hibiki said with a grin.
Yoichi nudged him away for the use of both a movie reference, and the pet name sweetheart.
Yoshi smiled at the two interacting, "alright you two, we'll test that theory at the next house"
Hibiki shook his head, "I've got a better idea, one that might help us get a larger scale of sales". He walked to a superstore and went inside, politely asking if he could be outside with cookie sales and a small performance.
