Chapter 5 - The light

..."Who dares attacking the great Alistar !!!??"

A woman voice said :

"That's me !"

Ezreal could recognize this voice. It was quite loud for a girl, calm, and determinated. Ezreal gave a look to check if he was right.

He saw a tall girl, wearing boots, cow-boy's boots. She had a blue and purple dress with no sleeves. Her hair was falling on her top. It was dark blue, like an ocean. On her head stood a high top hat. Ezreal had always found her pretty, but there he found her beautiful. Maybe this was because she could save them. The voice then confirmed her identity:

"Sheriff Caitlyn on the case !"

"Owh Cait ! Are you truly here ?! God bless you ! How did you got here ?", Ez exclaimed filled with hapiness.

She answered : "I was walking near and then I remembered I needed some milk. So here I am to milk this cow !"

Even if she had a high sense of humour, what Ez defintely liked the most in her, was her ability to always get at the right place at the right time ! But it was her job after all, Piltover's Sheriff.

Trundle then shouted while charging Alistar but the powerful taurus hit the ground so hard that stones flied projecting Trundle airborn. The troll couldn't move. He fell on the ground in a painful and sorrowed scream. Then the minautor charged him, horns toward, and threw the giant to crash on the wall with an only one headbutt.

Then caitlyn started shooting at him. After Alistar took some damages, Caitlyn started to aim a headshot. She shot. But the minotaur didn't get hurt. Three stones were flying around him blocking every single bullet. Even if Caitlyn tried to aim between these. She didn't stop shooting so that she could keep focused.

As trundle woke up, Cait ordered : "Ready to go ? Front !"

She aimed, she stopped breathing, and when she shot she quietly said : "Ace in the hole."

The three stones went to block the huge bullet. Alistar didn't notice Trundle and lost his focus on him. Trundle jumped and dealt Alistar a huge pillar blow. Alistar fell on one knee. But he slowly woke up. A green aura was wrapping him as his wounds were disappearing. He punched the ground so hard that this time, even Caitlyn got bumped. She fell from the cliff she was standing on and passed out.

Seeing this, Ezreal felt his heart beating against his ribs.

He was getting angry, really angry. But what could he do ? He felt so weak... So useless. He would like to have the Trundle's muscles... Or to know how to aim like Caitlyn... But he could not fight, he never learned to...

He was staring at the minotaur's eyes and a blue electric light filled his. Then, the spark started to spread all over his body. Sparks became lightnings. And Lightnings became a flash. All the cavern was illuminated by the blue light in a strange noise.
